STARTER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [LF, L3]
| WARNING | When the battery cables are connected, touching the vehicle body with starter terminal B will generate sparks. This can cause personal injury, fire, and damage to the electrical components. Always disconnect the negative battery cable before performing the following operation. |
Scheme 20
- Remove the battery cover. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [LF, L3] .)
- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Remove the under cover.
- Remove the clutch release cylinder with the pipe still connected. (MTX) (See MANUAL TRANSAXLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [G35M-R] .)
- Remove in the order indicated in the table.
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
