WARNINGIncorrect servicing of the discharge headlight bulb could result in electrical shock. Before servicing the discharge headlight bulb, always refer to the service warnings. (See DISCHARGE HEADLIGHT SERVICE WARNINGS .)

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See «BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 2.0, MZR 2.5]»(ref-520388-S24063200782013010300000).)   2. Remove the front bumper. (See «FRONT BUMPER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-520458-S33419321672013010300000).)
  3. Remove the front combination light. (See «FRONT COMBINATION LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-520371-S14305410122013010300000).)
  4. Rotate the cover in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure to remove it. (Scheme 69): Rotating Front Combination Light Cover
  5. Rotate the discharge headlight connector in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure to remove it. (Scheme 70): Rotating Discharge Headlight Connector
  6. Press sections A to release the bulb retaining wire. (Scheme 71): Identifying Bulb Retaining Wire
  7. Remove the discharge headlight bulb. (Scheme 72): Identifying Discharge Headlight Bulb CAUTION: The bulb generates extremely high heat when it is illuminated. If the surface of the bulb is soiled, excessive heat will build up and the life of the bulb will be shortened. When replacing the bulb, hold the metal flange, not the glass.
  8. Install in the reverse order of removal. (See «DISCHARGE HEADLIGHT CONNECTOR INSTALLATION NOTE»(ref-520371-S03631135962013010300000).) (with AFS (Adaptive front lighting system) only)
