SAS CONTROL MODULE CONFIGURATION

Note. Use the IDS (laptop PC) because the PDS (Pocket PC) does not support the SAS CONTROL MODULE CONFIGURATION.

Scheme 48

1. Connect the M-MDS (IDS) to the DLC-2. (Scheme 48): Identifying DLC-2 Location
2. After the vehicle is identified, select the following items from the initialization screen of the IDS. Select "Module Programming". Select "Programmable Module Installation". Select "RCM".
3. Perform the configuration according to the directions on the screen.
4. Retrieve DTCs by the M-MDS, then verify that there is no DTC present.

Scheme 49

1. Switch the ignition to off.
2. Disconnect the negative battery cable and wait for 1min or more. (See «BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 2.0, MZR 2.5]»(ref-520388-S24063200782013010300000).) 3. Remove the front driver's seat. (See «FRONT SEAT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-520455-S27188652042013010300000).)
4. Remove the front seat slide adjuster. (See «FRONT SEAT SLIDE ADJUSTER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-520455-S05114472112013010300000).)
5. Remove the screws. (Scheme 49): Identifying Seat Track Position Sensor And Screws
6. Remove the seat track position sensor.
7. Install in the reverse order of removal.
