SUPPLIER IDENTIFICATION PROCEDURE [AUDIO]
Note. When asking the supplier (service center) for repair or replacement, identify the supplier and fill in the Audio Repair Order Form using the following procedures.

- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Remove the following parts: Front scuff plate (See «FRONT SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION».) Front side trim (See «FRONT SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION».) Console panel (See «REAR CONSOLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION».) Rear console (See «REAR CONSOLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION».) Side wall (See «SIDE WALL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION».) Shift lever knob (MTX) (See «MANUAL TRANSAXLE SHIFT MECHANISM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [F35M-R]»(/mazda/2/ii-2010-2014/remont/manual-trans/#manual-transaxle-shift-mechanism-f35m-r).) Front console component (See «FRONT CONSOLE COMPONENT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION».) Glove compartment (See «GLOVE COMPARTMENT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION».) Lower panel (See «LOWER PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION».) - Verify the supplier indicated on the label attached on each unit. (Scheme 47): Identifying Label On Center Panel Unit

- Switch the ignition to ACC or ON.
- Turn the audio unit power to on.
- While pressing the POWER/VOLUME switch, simultaneously press the Preset 5 switch for 3 s or more. (Scheme 48): Identifying POWER/VOLUME Switch
- Identify the supplier code by referring to the «LCD». (Scheme 49): Screen Display - Supplier Code LCD NOTE: The supplier code can also be identified from the DTC displays screen. (Scheme 50): Screen Display - Supplier Code
- To stop the diagnostic assist function, ignition is switched to off or turning off the audio unit power.
