ADJUSTMENTS

Note. Before performing wheel alignment, perform preliminary visual and mechanical inspection of wheels, tires and suspension components. See PRE-ALIGNMENT INSTRUCTIONS in the WHEEL ALIGNMENT THEORY/OPERATION article in the GENERAL INFORMATION section.

CAMBER ADJUSTMENT (FRONT)

Loosen lower control arm inner pivot-to-subframe camber adjusting nut. Turn adjusting bolt as necessary to obtain correct camber specification. Hold adjusting bolt in place while tightening nut to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .

CAMBER ADJUSTMENT (REAR)

Loosen cam bolt nut at upper control arm inner pivot. Rotate cam bolt until camber is within specification. See ALIGNMENT SPECIFICATIONS .

Tighten lock nut to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .

CASTER ADJUSTMENT

CAUTIONDO NOT hold tension struts near bend when loosening or tightening lock nuts.

TOE-IN ADJUSTMENT (FRONT)

Ensure steering wheel is centered. Loosen tie rod end adjusting sleeve clamp bolts or lock nuts. Turn adjusting sleeve or tie rod to adjust toe-in. Tighten tie rod end adjusting sleeve clamp bolt or lock nut.
