- A1 CHECK THE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT LID REMOTE SWITCH INPUT TO FEM NOTE: Cycle the key from OFF to ON to enable the switched system power feature. Key in OFF position. Unlock the luggage compartment release switch with the valet key. Connect the diagnostic tool. Key in ON position. Enter the following diagnostic mode on the diagnostic tool: Monitor the FEM luggage compartment lid remote switch PID. Press and release the luggage compartment lid remote switch. Does the FEM luggage compartment lid remote switch PID agree with the luggage compartment lid remote switch position? Yes : GO to A7 . No : If the FEM luggage compartment lid remote switch PID indicates ON, GO to A2. If the PID indicates OFF, GO to A4 .
- A2 CHECK THE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT LID REMOTE SWITCH Enter the following diagnostic mode on the diagnostic tool: Monitor the FEM luggage compartment lid remote switch PID. Disconnect: Luggage Compartment Lid Remote Switch C207. Did the FEM luggage compartment lid remote switch PID change from ON to OFF? Yes : INSTALL a new luggage compartment lid remote switch. CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test. No : GO to A3.
- A3 CHECK CIRCUIT 8-AA30 (WH) FOR A SHORT TO GROUND Key in OFF position. Disconnect: FEM C201e. Measure the resistance between the FEM C201e-4, circuit 8-AA30 (WH), harness side and ground. Is the resistance greater than 10,000 ohms? Yes : GO to A7 . No : GO to A4.
- A4 CHECK CIRCUIT 8-AA30 (WH) FOR AN OPEN Disconnect: FEM C201e. Disconnect: Luggage Compartment Lid Remote Switch C207. Measure the resistance between the FEM C201e-4, circuit 8-AA30 (WH), harness side and the luggage compartment lid remote switch C207-1, circuit 8-AA30 (WH), harness side. Is the resistance less than 5 ohms? Yes : Connect all disconnected connectors and GO to A5. No : REPAIR the circuit. TEST the system for normal operation.
- A5 CHECK THE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT LID REMOTE SWITCH Key in OFF position. Enter the following diagnostic mode on the diagnostic tool: Monitor the FEM luggage compartment lid remote switch PID. Connect a 10A fused jumper wire between the luggage compartment lid remote switch C207-2, circuit 31-AA30 (BK/YE), harness side and the luggage compartment lid remote switch C207-1, circuit 8-AA30 (WH), harness side, while monitoring the FEM luggage compartment lid remote switch PID. Did the FEM luggage compartment lid remote switch PID change from OFF to ON? Yes : INSTALL a new luggage compartment lid remote switch. CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test. No : GO to A6.
- A6 CHECK CIRCUIT 31-AA30 (BK/YE) FOR AN OPEN Measure the resistance between the luggage compartment lid remote switch C207-2, circuit 31-AA30 (BK/YE), harness side and ground. Is the resistance less than 5 ohms? Yes : GO to A7. No : REPAIR the circuit 31 -AA30 (BK/YE) or circuit 31-DA3(BK/OG). CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test.
- A7 CHECK FOR CORRECT FEM OPERATION Disconnect all FEM connectors. Check for: corrosion pushed-out pins Connect all FEM connectors and make sure they seat correctly. Operate the system and verify the concern is still present. Is the concern still present? Yes : INSTALL a new FEM. REFER to «MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK - LS»(ref-207567) for the removal and installation procedure. TEST the system for normal operation. No : The system is operating correctly at this time. Concern may have been caused by a loose or corroded connector. CLEAR the DTCs. TEST the system for normal operation.

- B1 CHECK THE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT LID REMOTE SWITCH INPUT TO THE FEM Key in OFF position. Connect the diagnostic tool. Key in ON position. Enter the following diagnostic mode on the diagnostic tool: Monitor the FEM luggage compartment lid remote switch PID. Press and release the luggage compartment lid remote switch. Does the FEM luggage compartment lid remote switch PID agree with the luggage compartment lid remote switch position? Yes : GO to B2. No : GO to B7 .
- B2 CHECK THE REM OUTPUT USING ACTIVE COMMANDS Trigger the REM active command RELEASE ON. Does the luggage compartment lid release? Yes : GO to B7 . No : GO to B3.
- B3 CHECK LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT LID REMOTE SWITCH OUTPUT FROM THE REM Disconnect: Luggage Compartment Lid Actuator C430. Enter the following diagnostic mode on the diagnostic tool: Trigger the REM luggage compartment lid release active command ON. Measure the voltage between the luggage compartment lid actuator C430-2, circuit 29S-AA83 (OG), harness side and ground. Is the voltage greater than 10 volts? Yes : GO to B4. No : GO to B5 .
- B4 CHECK CIRCUIT 31-AA83 (BK/OG) FOR AN OPEN Key in OFF position. Measure the resistance between the luggage compartment lid actuator C430-3, circuit 31-AA83 (BK/OG), harness side and ground. Is the resistance less than 5 ohms? Yes : INSTALL a new luggage compartment lid actuator. CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test. No : REPAIR the circuit. CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test.
- B5 CHECK CIRCUIT 29S-AA83 (OG) FOR AN OPEN Key in OFF position. Disconnect: REM C420c. Measure the resistance between the REM C420c-10, circuit 29S-AA83 (OG), harness side and the luggage compartment lid actuator C430-2, circuit 29S-AA83 (OG), harness side. Is the resistance less than 5 ohms? Yes : GO to B6. No : REPAIR the circuit. CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test.
- B6 CHECK CIRCUIT 29S-AA83 (OG) FOR A SHORT TO GROUND_ Measure the resistance between the REM C420c-10, circuit 29S-AA83 (OG) harness side and ground. Is the resistance greater than 10,000 ohms? Yes : GO to B7. No : REPAIR the circuit. CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test.

- C1 RETRIEVE THE RECORDED DTCS FROM BOTH CONTINUOUS AND ON-DEMAND SELF-TEST - DDM Use the recorded DDM DTCs from the continuous and on-demand self-test. Are any DDM DTCs recorded? Yes : If DTCB 1309 or DTC B1341 were retrieved, GO to C3 . For all other DDM DTCs, REFER to the DDM Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Index. No : GO to C2.
- C2 CHECK DRIVER DOOR LOCK CONTROL SWITCH AND CIRCUITS - MONITOR THE DDM DOOR LOCK AND DOOR UNLOCK PIDS NOTE: Cycle the key from OFF to ON to enable the switched system power feature. Key in OFF position. Key in ON position. Enter the following diagnostic mode on the diagnostic tool: Monitor the DDM door lock and door unlock PIDs. Lock and unlock the driver door using the driver door lock control switch while monitoring the DDM door lock and door unlock PIDs. Do the DDM door LOCK and door UNLOCK PIDs values agree with the driver door lock control switch positions? Yes : GO to C8 . No : If the PID(s) read YES at all times GO to C3. If the PID(s) read NO at all times GO to C5 .
- C3 CHECK THE DRIVER DOOR LOCK CONTROL SWITCH Key in OFF position. Disconnect: Driver Door Lock Control Switch C505. Carry out the driver door lock control switch component test. Refer to COMPONENT TESTING . Is the driver door lock control switch OK? Yes : GO to C4. No : INSTALL a new driver door lock control switch. REFER to «DOOR LOCK CONTROL SWITCH»(ref-207573-S35559722502005113000000) . CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test.
- C4 CHECK CIRCUITS 8-AA10 (WH/BK) AND 8-AA11 (WH/VT) FOR A SHORT TO GROUND Disconnect: DDM C501d. Measure the resistance between the DDM C501 d-23, circuit 8-AA10 (WH/BK), harness side and ground; and between the DDM C501d-24, circuit 8-AA11 (WH/VT), harness side and ground. Are the resistances greater than 10,000 ohms? Yes : GO to C8 . No : REPAIR the circuit(s) in question. CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test.
- C5 CHECK THE DRIVER DOOR LOCK CONTROL SWITCH Key in OFF position. Disconnect: Driver Door Lock Control Switch C505. Carry out the driver door lock control switch component test. Refer to COMPONENT TESTING Is the driver door lock control switch OK? Yes : GO to C6. No : INSTALL a new driver door lock control switch. REFER to «DOOR LOCK CONTROL SWITCH»(ref-207573-S35559722502005113000000) . CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test.
- C6 CHECK CIRCUIT 31-LH28 (BK) FOR OPEN Measure the resistance between the driver door lock control switch C505-4, circuit 31-LH28 (BK), harness side and ground. Is the resistance less than 5 ohms? Yes : GO to C7. No : REPAIR the circuit. CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test.
- C7 CHECK CIRCUITS 8-AA10 (WH/BK) AND 8-AA11 (WH/VT) FOR OPEN Disconnect: DDM C501d. Measure the resistance between the DDM C501 d-23, circuit 8-AA10 (WH/BK), harness side and the driver door lock control switch C505-1, circuit 8-AA10 (WH/BK), harness side; and between the DDM C501d-24, circuit 8-AA11 (WH/VT), harness side and the driver door lock control switch C505-3, circuit 8-AA11 (WH/VT), harness side. Are the resistances less than 5 ohms? Yes : GO to C8. No : REPAIR the circuit(s) in question. CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test.
- C8 CHECK FOR CORRECT DDM OPERATION Disconnect all DDM connectors. Check for: corrosion pushed-out pins Connect all DDM connectors and make sure they seat correctly. Do the REM RH front door lock and unlock PIDs values agree with the passenger door lock control switch positions? Yes : go to D8 . No : If the PID(s) read YES at all times GO to D3. If the PID(s) read NO at all times GO to D5 .
- D3 CHECK PASSENGER DOOR LOCK CONTROL SWITCH Key in OFF position. Disconnect: Passenger Door Lock Control Switch C605. Carry out the passenger door lock control switch component test. Refer to COMPONENT TESTING Is the passenger door lock control switch OK? Yes : GO to D4. No : INSTALL a new passenger door lock control switch. Measure the resistance between the REM C420c-20, circuit 8-AA20 (WH/BU), harness side and passenger door lock control switch C605-1, circuit 8-AA20 (WH/BU), harness side; and between the REM C420c-21, circuit 8-AA21 (WH/GN), harness side and the passenger door lock control switch C605-3, circuit 8-AA21 (WH/GN), harness side. Are the resistances less than 5 ohms? Yes : GO to D8. No : REPAIR the circuit(s) in question. CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test.

Do the DDM lock cylinder input switch status and door unlock disarm input switch status PIDs values agree with the driver door lock cylinder positions? Yes : GO to E9 . No : GO to E3.
- E3 CHECK CIRCUITS 31S-AA78 (BK/BU) AND 31S-AA79 (BK/WH) FOR A SHORT TO GROUND Key in OFF position. Disconnect: DDM C501c. Measure the resistance between the DDM C501c-16, circuit 31S-AA78 (BK/BU), harness side and ground; and between the DDM C501c-17, circuit 31S-AA79 (BK/WH), harness side and ground. Are the resistances greater than 10,000 ohms? Yes : GO to E5 . No : GO to E4.
- E4 CHECK DRIVER DOOR LOCK LATCH FOR A SHORT TO GROUND Disconnect: Driver Door Latch C525. Measure the resistance between the DDM C501c-16, circuit 31S-AA78 (BK/BU), harness side and ground; and between the DDM C501c-17, circuit 31S-AA79 (BK/WH), harness side and ground. Are the resistances greater than 10,000 ohms? Yes : INSTALL a new driver door latch. REFER to «FRONT DOOR HANDLE»(ref-207573-S19087920692005113000000) . CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test. No : REPAIR the circuit(s) in question. CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test.
- E5 CHECK DDM FOR AN INTERNAL SHORT TO GROUND Connect: DDM C501c. Disconnect: Driver Door Latch C525. Measure the resistance between the driver door latch C525-7, circuit 31S-AA78 (BK/BU), harness side and ground; and between the driver door latch C525-5, circuit 31S-AA79 (BK/WH), harness side and ground. Are the resistances greater than 10,000 ohms? Yes : GO to E6. No : GO to E9 .
- E6 CHECK CIRCUIT 31-AA58 (BK) FOR AN OPEN Measure the resistance between the driver door latch C525-6, circuit 31-AA58 (BK), harness side and ground. Is the resistance less than 5 ohms? Yes : GO to E7. No : REPAIR the circuit. CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test.
- E7 CHECK DRIVER SET AND RESET SWITCH Connect: Driver Door Latch C525. Disconnect: DDM C501c. Measure the resistance between the DDM C501c-16, circuit 31S-AA78 (BK/BU), harness side and ground, while turning the key cylinder to the SET position; and between the DDM C501 c-17, circuit 31S-AA79 (BK/WH), harness side and ground, while turning the key cylinder to the RESET position. Are the resistances less than 5 ohms? Yes : GO to E9 . No : GO to E8.
- E8 CHECK CIRCUITS 31S-AA78 (BK/BU) AND 31S-AA79 (BK/WH) FOR AN OPEN Disconnect: Driver Door Latch C525. Measure the resistance between the DDM C501c-16, circuit 31S-AA78 (BK/BU), harness side and the driver door latch C525-7, circuit 31S-AA78 (BK/BU), harness side; and between the DDM C501c-17, circuit 31S-AA79 (BK/WH), harness side and the driver door latch C525-5, circuit 31S-AA79 (BK/WH), harness side. Are the resistances less than 5 ohms? Yes : INSTALL a new driver door latch. REFER to «FRONT DOOR HANDLE»(ref-207573-S19087920692005113000000) . CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test. Measure the resistance between the driver door latch C525-2, circuit 33-AA10 (YE/BK), harness side and the DDM C501c-8, circuit 33-AA10 (YE/BK) harness side; and between the driver door latch C525-10, circuit 32-AA11 (WH/VT) harness side and the DDM C501c-9, circuit 32-AA11 (WH/VT) harness side. Are the resistances less than 5 ohms? Yes : GO to F4. No : REPAIR the circuit(s) in question. CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test.
- F4 CHECK CIRCUITS 33-AA10 (YE/BK) AND 32-AA11 (WH/VT) FOR A SHORT TO GROUND Measure the resistance between the driver door latch C525-2, circuit 33-AA10 (YE/BK), harness side and ground; and between the driver door latch C525-10, circuit 32-AA11 (WH/VT), harness side and ground. Are the resistances greater than 10,000 ohms? Yes : GO to F5. No : REPAIR the circuit(s) in question. CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test.

- G2 CHECK BATTERY JUNCTION BOX (BJB) FUSE 1 (15A) FOR VOLTAGE NOTE: Cycle the key from OFF to ON to enable the switched system power feature. Disconnect: BJB fuse 1 (15A). Measure the voltage between the BJB fuse 1 (15A) input cavity, component side and ground. Is the voltage greater than 10 volts? Yes : RECONNECT the BJB fuse1 (15A).GO to G3. No : REPAIR the BJB. CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test.
- G3 CHECK CIRCUIT 29S-DK31 (OG/BK) FOR OPEN Key in OFF position. Disconnect: REM C420c. Key in ON position. Measure the voltage between the REM C420c-13, circuit 29S-DK31 (OG/BK), harness side and ground. Is the voltage greater than 10 volts? Yes : GO to G4. No : REPAIR circuit 29S-DK31 (OG/BK). CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test.
- G4 CHECK REM OUTPUT USING ACTIVE COMMANDS Key in OFF position. Connect: REM C420c. Key in ON position. Trigger the REM LH rear LOCK, RH rear LOCK, RH rear UNLOCK and LH rear UNLOCK active commands ON and OFF while observing the RH front, RH rear and LH rear latches. Do the REM LH rear lock, LH rear unlock, RH rear lock and RH rear unlock active commands operate correctly? Yes : GO to G6 . No : If only an individual lock does not operate, REFER to «SYMPTOM CHART»(ref-207573-S27728808492005113000000) . If two or more do not operate, GO to G5.
- G5 CHECK CIRCUITS 33-AA2 (YE/RD), 32-AA1 (WH/RD), 33-AA15 (YE/GN) AND 32-AA16 (WH/BK) FOR A SHORT TO GROUND Key in OFF position. Disconnect: REM C420c. Measure the resistance between the REM connector, harness side and ground as follows: CONNECTOR PIN CHART Connector Pin Circuit C420c-4 33-AA15 (YE/GN) C420c-5 33-AA2 (YE/RD) C420c-6 32-AA1 (WH/RD) C420c-7 32-AA16 (WH/BK) Are the resistances greater than 10,000 ohms? Yes : GO to G6. No : REPAIR the circuit(s) in question. CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test.
- G6 CHECK CIRCUIT 31-DK30H (BK/OG) FOR AN OPEN Disconnect: REM C420b. Measure the resistance between the REM C420b-12, circuit 31-DK30H (BK/OG), harness side and ground. Is the resistance less than 5 ohms? Yes : GO to G7. No : REPAIR the circuit(s) in question. CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test.
- G7 CHECK FOR CORRECT REM OPERATION Disconnect all REM connectors. Check for: corrosion pushed-out pins Connect all REM connectors and make sure they seat correctly. Operate the system and verify the concern is still present. Is the concern still present? Yes : INSTALL a new REM. REFER to «MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK - LS»(ref-207567) . TEST the system for normal operation. No : The system is operating correctly at this time. Concern may have been caused by a loose or corroded connector. CLEAR the DTCs. TEST the system for normal operation.

- H3 CHECK REM OUTPUT TO RH FRONT AND RH REAR LATCHES NOTE: Disconnect the inoperative door latch. If both doors are inoperative you must disconnect both latches. Key in OFF position. Disconnect: RH Rear Door Latch C804. Disconnect: RH Front Door Latch C609. Key in ON position. Measure the voltage between the RH front door latch C609-2, circuit 33-AA20 (YE/BU), harness side and ground, while triggering the REM RH front door lock active command to ON; and measure the voltage between the RH front door latch C609-10, circuit 32-AA21 (WH/GN), harness side and ground, while triggering the REM RH front door unlock active command to ON. Measure the voltage between the RH rear door latch C804-2, circuit 33-AA25 (YE/RD), harness side and ground, while triggering the REM RH rear door lock active command to ON; and measure the voltage between RH rear door latch C804-10, circuit 32-AA26 (WH/BU), harness side and ground, while triggering the REM RH rear door unlock active command to ON. Are the voltages greater than 10 volts? Yes : INSTALL a new door latch(es). REFER to «FRONT DOOR HANDLE»(ref-207573-S19087920692005113000000) or Rear Door Handle. CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test. No : GO to H4.
- H4 CHECK CIRCUITS 33-AA20 (YE/BU), 32-AA21 (WH/GN), 33-AA2 (YE/RD), 32-AA1 (WH/RD), 32-AA26 (WH/BU) AND 33-AA25 (YE/RD) FOR AN OPEN Key in OFF position. Disconnect: REM C420c. Measure the resistance between the RH front door latch C609-2, circuit 33-AA20 (YE/BU), harness side and the REM C420c-5, circuit 33-AA2 (YE/RD), harness side; and between the RH front door latch C609-10, circuit 32-AA21 (WH/GN), harness side and the REM C420c-6, circuit 32-AA1 (WH/RD), harness side. Measure the resistance between the RH rear door latch C804-2, circuit 33-AA25 (YE/RD), harness side and the REM C420c-5, circuit 33-AA2 (YE/RD), harness side; and between the RH rear door lock latch C804-10, circuit 32-AA26 (WH/BU), harness side and the REM C420c-6, circuit 32-AA1 (WH/RD), harness side. Are the resistances less than 5 ohms? Yes : GO to H5. No : REPAIR the circuit(s) in question. CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test.
- H5 CHECK CIRCUITS 33-AA2 (YE/RD) AND 32-AA1 (WH/RD) FOR SHORT TO GROUND Measure the resistance between the REM C420c-5, circuit 33-AA2 (YE/RD) harness side and ground; and between the REM C420c-6, circuit 32-AA1 (WH/RD), harness side and ground. Are the resistances greater than 10,000 ohms? Yes : GO to H6. No : REPAIR the circuit(s) in question. CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test.

Are the voltages greater than 10 volts? Yes : INSTALL a new rear door latch. REFER to «REAR DOOR HANDLE»(ref-207573-S23628795122005113000000) . CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test. No : GO to I4.
- I4 CHECK CIRCUIT 33-AA15 (YE/GN) AND 32-AA16 (WH/BK) FOR AN OPEN Key in OFF position. Disconnect: REM C420c. Measure the resistance between the LH rear door latch C704-2, circuit 33-AA15 (YE/GN), harness side and the REM C420c-4, circuit 33-AA15 (YE/GN), harness side; and between the LH rear door latch C704-10, circuit 32-AA16 (WH/BK), harness side and the REM C420c-7, circuit 32-AA16 (WH/BK), harness side. Are the resistances less than 5 ohms? Yes : GO to I5. No : REPAIR the circuit(s) in question. CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test.

- J1 CHECK THE LOCK/UNLOCK OPERATION FROM THE DRIVER DOOR LOCK CONTROL SWITCH Lock and unlock all the doors using the driver door lock control switch. Do all the doors lock and unlock correctly? Yes : If the memory seat does not operate correctly using the keyless entry keypad and all other functions do operate correctly, GO to J2. If one or more other functions do not operate correctly using the keyless entry keypad, GO to J3 . No : REFER to the «SYMPTOM CHART»(ref-207573-S27728808492005113000000) to diagnose the inoperative function.
- J2 CHECK THAT KEYLESS ENTRY KEYPAD IS ASSOCIATED WITH A MEMORY POSITION Activate the keyless entry keypad memory recall feature. Position the seat, mirrors, steering column and adjustable pedals to the desired positions. Does the keyless entry keypad operate correctly? Yes : The system is operating correctly at this time. CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test. No : GO to J3.
- J3 CHECK THE DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTCS) Refer to the recorded results from the DDM self-test. Is DTC B1526 recorded? Yes : GO to J4. No : GO to J6 .
- J4 CHECK THE KEYLESS ENTRY KEYPAD INPUT TO THE DDM FOR A SHORT TO GROUND Key in OFF position. Disconnect: DDM C501d. Measure the resistance between each DDM C501d pin, harness side and ground using the following chart: DDM C501D CIRCUIT CHART DDM C501d Circuit 19 8-AA70 (WH/GN) 20 10-AA70 (GY/OG) 21 7-AA70 (YE/GN) Is each resistance greater than 10,000 ohms? Yes : GO to J10 . No : GO to J5.
- J5 CHECK THE KEYLESS ENTRY KEYPAD FOR A SHORT TO GROUND Disconnect: Keyless Entry Keypad C500. Measure the resistance between each DDM C501d pin, harness side and ground using the following chart: DDM C501D CIRCUIT CHART DDM C501d Circuit 19 8-AA70 (WH/GN) 20 10-AA70 (GY/OG) 21 7-AA70 (YE/GN) Is each resistance greater than 10,000 ohms? Yes : INSTALL a new keyless entry keypad. REFER to «KEYLESS ENTRY KEYPAD»(ref-207573-S41165592092005113000000) . CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test. No : REPAIR the circuit(s). CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test.
- J6 CHECK THE FACTORY KEYLESS CODE Enter the following diagnostic mode on the diagnostic tool: Monitor the DDM key code PID. Record the code. Does the recorded code match the code on the factory sticker or wallet card? Yes : GO to J7. No : CHECK the operation of the factory code retrieved from the DDM. If OK, NOTIFY customer of the correct code. If still inoperative, CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test and GO to J7.
- J7 CHECK THE KEYLESS ENTRY KEYPAD OPERATION Key in OFF position. Disconnect: DDM C501d. Measure the resistance between each DDM C501d pin, harness side and ground while pressing the associated keyless entry keypad button using the following chart: DDM C501D CIRCUIT CHART DDM C501d Circuit Keypad Buttons 19 8-AA70 (WH/GN) 1/2, 3/4 and 5/6 20 10-AA70 (GY/OG) 5/6 and 7/8 21 7-AA70 (YE/GN) 3/4 and 9/0 Is each resistance less than 5 ohms with the associated button pressed? Yes : GO to J10 . No : GO to J8.
- J8 CHECK CIRCUIT 9-AA70 (BN/GN) FOR AN OPEN Disconnect: DDM C501c. Disconnect: Keyless Entry Keypad C500. Measure the resistance between the keyless entry keypad C500-6, circuit 9-AA70 (BN/GN), harness side and the DDM C501c-20, circuit 9-AA70 (BN/GN), harness side. Is the resistance less than 5 ohms? Yes : GO to J9. No : REPAIR the circuit. TEST the system for normal operation.
