DESCRIPTION

The automatic light control sensor detects ambient light, converts it into an electrical signal, and outputs it to the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU). The main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) turns on or off the headlights and taillights according to the signal.

  2. READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM Connect the Techstream to the DLC3. Turn the engine switch on (IG). Turn the Techstream on. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / AFS / Data List. Read the display on the Techstream.   3. INSPECT REAR HEIGHT CONTROL SENSOR SUB-ASSEMBLY RH Connect 3 dry cell batteries (1.5 V) in series. Remove the rear height control sensor sub-assembly RH. Refer to «COMPONENTS [03/2012 - ]»(ref-602715-S35347600522014030500000) . Connect a positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 3 (SHB) and a negative (-) lead from the battery to terminal 1 (SHG). Measure the voltage between terminals 2 (SHRR) and 1 (SHG) while slowly moving the link up and down. Disconnect the R4 rear height control sensor sub-assembly RH connector. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
