Removal
Remove oil filler plug. Remove oil drain plug, and drain transfer case oil. Remove drive shaft. Using appropriate puller, remove oil seal.
Installation
Coat seal with gear oil and install into extension housing using appropriate oil seal installer. Install drive shaft. Install drain plug and tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Fill transfer case with appropriate fluid. See LUBRICATION . Install filler plug and tighten to specification.
