ANTENNA DOES NOT FULLY EXTEND OR FULLY RETRACT

ANTENNA CONTROL RELAY

Note. If the circuit is not as specified, inspect the circuits connected to other parts.

1. Disconnect the connector from the relay and inspect the connector on the harness side. (Scheme 7)and (Scheme 8).

ANTENNA MOTOR

1. Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 1 and the negative (-) lead to terminal 2, and check that the motor turns (moves upward).
2. Reverse the polarity, check that the motor turns the opposite way (moves downward). If operation is not as specified, replace the motor.

1. Inspect switch continuity. (Scheme 10)and (Scheme 11). If continuity is not as specified, replace the switch.
2. Disconnect the connector from the switch and inspect the connector on the wire harness side. (Scheme 12) If the circuit is not as specified, inspect power source or wire harness.
