DESCRIPTION

The No. 1 ultrasonic sensor (FL sensor) is installed on the front bumper. The ECU detects obstacles based on signals received from the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor (FL sensor). If the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor (FL sensor) has an open or other malfunction, it will not function normally.

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR [FL SENSOR] - PARKING ASSIST ECU) Disconnect the B6 No. 1 ultrasonic sensor (FL sensor) connector. Disconnect the F63 parking assist ECU connector. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below. This DTC is stored when a problem with the shift position information sent through the CAN communication system is detected.

HINT

When 2 or more DTCs starting with "U" are output simultaneously, inspect the connectors and wire harness of each ECU.

When the back sonar or clearance sonar switch assembly turns on, the ON signal is input into the parking assist ECU.
