- CUSTOMIZING FUNCTION WITH TECHSTREAM (REFERENCE) NOTE: When the customer requests a change in a function, first make sure that the function can be customized. Be sure to make a note of the current settings before customizing. When troubleshooting a function, first make sure that the function is set to the default setting. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3. Turn the engine switch on (IG). Turn the Techstream on. Enter the following menus: Customize Setting. Select the setting by referring to the table below. AIR CONDITIONER Display Default Contents Setting Relevant ECU Set Temperature Shift Normal Function to set the temperature shift. +2 C/+1 C/Normal/-1 C/-2 C Air conditioning amplifier assembly Evaporator Control Automatic Function to set the evaporator control to the automatic position (Automatic) to save power, or to the coldest position (Manual) to dehumidify the air and to prevent the windows from fogging up. Manual/Automatic Air conditioning amplifier assembly Compressor/Air Inlet DEF operation Link Function to automatically turn the air conditioning system is on when the front defroster button is pressed. Normal/Link Air conditioning amplifier assembly Compressor Mode Automatic Function to turn the air conditioning system is on automatically when the AUTO switch is on. Manual/Automatic Air conditioning amplifier assembly Air Inlet Mode Automatic Function to automatically change to recirculation mode when the AUTO switch is on. Manual/Automatic Air conditioning amplifier assembly Foot/DEF Auto Mode ON Function to turn on the airflow from the front and rear footwell register ducts and center and side defrosters automatically when auto mode is on. ON/OFF Air conditioning amplifier assembly Foot/DEF Automatic Blow Up Function ON Function to change the blower level automatically when the defroster is on. ON/OFF Air conditioning amplifier assembly Ambient Temperature Shift Normal Function to control the shifted ambient temperature in relation to the displayed ambient temperature. +3 C/+2 C/+1 C/Normal/-1 C/-2 C/-3 C Air conditioning amplifier assembly Emission Gas Sensor Shift Normal Function to change the sensitivity of the exhaust gas sensor. Much More/More/Little More/Normal/Little Less/Less/Much Less Air conditioning amplifier assembly Add Foot Air in FACE Mode ON When the FACE mode is selected, an additional amount of air blow to the foot area. Selecting OFF will cancel this additional air flow. ON/OFF Air conditioning amplifier assembly

HINT: The following items can be customized. Turn the engine switch on (IG). Enter the following menus: Setup / Vehicle / Vehicle Settings / Vehicle Customization / Climate settings. AIR CONDITIONER Display Default Contents Setting Relevant ECU Auto A/C Mode On Enables or disables the function which automatically turns the air conditioning on according to the state of the AUTO switch. On or Off Air conditioning amplifier assembly Efficient Ventilation Mode On Enables or disables the function which automatically switches between recirculation and fresh air modes when the AUTO switch is on. INITIALIZATION [01/2012 - ]
- INITIALIZATION SERVO MOTOR Turn the engine switch off. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3. Turn the engine switch on (IG). Press the blower OFF switch. Turn the Techstream on. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Air Conditioner / Utility / Servomotor Initialization. According to the Techstream display, perform servomotor initialization. HINT: During initialization, the AUTO indicator light comes on, and then goes off when initialization has finished. According to the Techstream display, select the "Exit" switch to finish initialization.
