PRECAUTION

CAUTIONBefore working on the fuel system, disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Do not smoke or be near an open flame when working on the fuel system. Keep gasoline away from rubber or leather parts. Do not allow fuel to spray when removing the pipe between the high pressure side fuel pump and the fuel injector. The fuel in the pipe is highly pressurized.

Note. After the engine switch is turned off, the HDD navigation system requires approximately 6 minutes to record various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, wait 6 minutes or more before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

  1. DISCHARGE FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE CAUTION: Do not disconnect any part of the fuel system until you have discharged the fuel system pressure. Even after discharging the fuel pressure, place a piece of cloth or equivalent over fittings as you separate them to reduce the risk of fuel spray on yourself or in the engine compartment. Allow the engine to cool down before performing the following procedures, as the high pressure side's fuel pressure does not decrease until the engine cools down. NOTE: Perform these procedures with the engine coolant temperature at 60°C (140°F) or less. for Power Seat: Remove the rear seat assembly LH (see «REMOVAL»(ref-349741-S26853688812009120800000) ). for Ottoman: Remove the rear seat assembly LH (see «REMOVAL»(ref-349741-S19112888892009120800000) ). for Fixed Seat Type: Remove the rear seat assembly (see «REMOVAL»(ref-349741-S36365163922009120800000) ). Disconnect the fuel pump connector. Start the engine. After the engine has stopped on its own, turn the engine switch off. HINT: DTC P3190, P3191, P0171, P0172 and/or P0A0F may be set. Try to start the engine again, then check that the engine does not start. Loosen the fuel tank cap, then discharge the pressure in the fuel tank completely. Connect the fuel pump connector. for Power Seat: Install the rear seat assembly LH (see «INSTALLATION»(ref-349741-S24840229242009120800000) ). for Ottoman: Install the rear seat assembly LH (see «INSTALLATION»(ref-349741-S09487469022009120800000) ). for Fixed Seat Type: Install the rear seat assembly (see «INSTALLATION»(ref-349741-S36437420052009120800000) ).
  2. FUEL SYSTEM When disconnecting the fuel pressure line, a large amount of gasoline will spill out. Follow the following procedures: Discharge the fuel system pressure. Put a container under the connection. Disconnect the fuel pump tube. Drain the fuel remaining inside the fuel pump tube into the container. To protect the disconnected fuel pump tube from damage and contamination, cover it with a plastic bag. Observe the following precautions when disconnecting the fuel tube connector (for quick type A). for Fuel Pipe Clamp Type: Remove the fuel pipe clamp. for Retainer Type: Pull up the retainer to release the lock. Check for foreign matter on the pipe and around the connector before disconnecting it. Clean it if necessary. Pinch the connector and disconnect the connector and pipe. If the connector and pipe are stuck, pinch the connector, and push and pull the pipe to disconnect them. NOTE: Do not use any tools in this procedure. Check for foreign matter on the seal surface of the disconnected pipe. Clean it if necessary. To protect the disconnected pipe and connector from damage and foreign matter, cover it with a plastic bag. Observe the following precautions when connecting the fuel tube connector (for quick type A). Check that there is no damage or foreign matter on the part of the pipe that contacts the connector. Align the axis of the connector with the axis of the pipe. Push the pipe into the connector until the connector makes a "click" sound. If the connection is too tight, apply a light coat of fresh engine oil to the tip of the pipe. After connecting the pipe and connector, try to pull them apart to confirm that they are securely connected. for Fuel Pipe Clamp Type: Install the fuel pipe clamp. for Retainer Type: Push down the retainer to lock it. Observe the following precautions when disconnecting the fuel tube connector (for quick type B). Check that there is no damage or foreign matter on the part of the pipe that contacts the connector. Detach the 2 claws of the connector retainer. Push down on the connector and disconnect it from the pipe. HINT: If the connector and pipe are stuck, pinch the fuel pipe by hand, and push and pull the connector to disconnect it. NOTE: Do not use any tools in this procedure. Check for foreign matter on the seal surface of the disconnected pipe. Clean it if necessary. To protect the disconnected pipe and connector from damage and foreign matter, cover it with a plastic bag. Observe the following precautions when connecting the fuel tube connector (for quick type B). Check for foreign matter on the pipe and around the connector before connecting it. Clean it if necessary. Align the axis of the connector with the axis of the pipe. Push the pipe into the connector, and push up on the retainer. After connecting the pipe and connector, try to pull them apart to confirm that they are securely connected.
  3. CHECK FOR FUEL LEAK Check that there are no fuel leaks anywhere on the fuel system after performing maintenance (see «ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION»(ref-349727-S24203775252009120800000) ).

  1. CHECK FUEL PUMP OPERATION AND FOR FUEL LEAKS Connect the Techstream to the DLC3. Turn the engine switch on (IG). NOTE: Do not start the engine. Turn the tester ON. Enter the following menus: Powertrain/Engine/Active Test/Control the Fuel Pump Speed. Check the fuel pump operation. Check for pressure in the fuel inlet tube from the fuel line. Check that the sound of fuel flowing in the fuel tank can be heard. If no sound can be heard, check the integration relay, fuel pump, ECM and wiring connector. Check for fuel leaks. Check that there are no fuel leaks anywhere on the system after performing maintenance. If there is a fuel leak, repair or replace parts as necessary.
  2. CHECK FUEL PRESSURE Check that the battery positive voltage is above 12 V. Discharge the fuel system pressure (see «PRECAUTION»(ref-349727-S09663469032009120800000) ). Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. When checking the fuel pressure of the direct injection side: Disconnect the fuel pump main tube. Remove the fuel pipe clamp. Pinch the connector and pull the fuel tube (see «PRECAUTION»(ref-349727-S09663469032009120800000) ). CAUTION: Always read the precautions (see «PRECAUTION»(ref-349727-S09663469032009120800000) ) before disconnecting the fuel tube connector (quick type A). The fuel tube may spray fuel as a result of pressure that remains in the tube. Do not allow fuel to be sprayed in the engine compartment. When checking the fuel pressure of the port injection side: Disconnect the fuel pump main tube. Remove the fuel pipe clamp. Pinch the connector and pull the fuel tube. CAUTION: Always read the precautions (see «PRECAUTION»(ref-349727-S09663469032009120800000) ) before disconnecting the fuel tube connector (quick type A). The fuel tube may spray fuel as a result of pressure that remains in the tube. Do not allow fuel to be sprayed in the engine compartment. Install SST (pressure gauge) as shown in the illustration. SST 09268-31012 (90467-13001, 95336-08070, 09268-41500), 09268-45014 (09268-41200, 09268-41220, 09268-41250) Wipe off any gasoline. Reconnect the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal. Operate the fuel pump. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3. Turn the engine switch on (IG). NOTE: Do not start the engine. Turn the tester ON. Enter the following menus: Powertrain/Engine/Active Test/Control the Fuel Pump Speed. Measure the fuel pressure. Standard fuel pressure: 196 to 588 kPa (2.0 to 6.0 kgf/cm 2 , 28 to 85 psi) If the fuel pressure is higher than the specification, replace the fuel pump (built into fuel tank). If the pressure is lower than the specification, check the fuel hoses, connections and fuel pump (built into fuel tank). Connect the Techstream to the DLC3. Start the engine. Measure the fuel pressure at idle. Standard fuel pressure: 196 to 588 kPa (2.0 to 6.0 kgf/cm 2 , 28 to 85 psi) If the pressure is not as specified, check the fuel pump and injectors. Stop the engine. Check that the fuel pressure remains as specified for 5 minutes after the engine has stopped. Standard fuel pressure: 147 kPa (1.5 kgf/cm 2 , 21 psi) or more If the pressure is not as specified, check the fuel pump or injectors. After checking the fuel pressure, disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal and carefully remove SST and the fuel tube connector to prevent fuel from spilling. Reconnect the fuel pump main tube (see «PRECAUTION»(ref-349727-S09663469032009120800000) ). Check for fuel leaks.
  3. CHECK FUEL PRESSURE (for High Pressure) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3. Turn the engine switch on (IG). Turn the tester ON. Start and warm up the engine. Run the engine at idle. Enter the following menus: Powertrain/Engine/Data List/All Data/Fuel Press. Check the high pressure side fuel pressure. Standard fuel pressure: 3500 to 4500 kPa (35.7 to 45.9 kgf/cm 2 , 508 to 653 psi) If the pressure is not as specified, check the fuel pump, high pressure side fuel pump, fuel pressure sensor and wiring. Stop the engine.
  4. PERFORM INITIALIZATION Perform initialization (see «INITIALIZATION»(ref-349706-S07943075812009120800000) ). NOTE: Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal.

  4. REMOVE INTAKE MANIFOLD Remove the intake manifold (see «REMOVAL»(ref-349728-S13350104582009120800000) ).
  5. DISCONNECT NO. 3 FUEL HOSE Remove the fuel pipe clamp. Pinch the tube connector and then pull out the fuel hose. NOTE: Check for any dirt and foreign matter contamination in the pipe and around the connector. Clean if necessary. Foreign matter may damage the O-rings or cause leaks in the seal between the pipe and connector. Do not use any tools to separate the pipe and connector. Do not forcefully bend or twist the nylon tube. Check for any dirt and foreign matter on the pipe seal surface. Clean if necessary. Put the pipe and connector ends in plastic bags to prevent damage and dirt contamination. If the pipe and connector are stuck together, pinch the tube between your fingers and turn it carefully to free it. Then disconnect the hose.
  6. REMOVE FUEL TUBE SUB-ASSEMBLY Lift up the retainer to release its lock. Pinch the tube connector and then pull out the fuel tube. NOTE: Check for any dirt and foreign matter contamination in the pipe and around the connector. Clean if necessary. Foreign matter may damage the O-rings or cause leaks in the seal between the pipe and connector. Do not use any tools to separate the pipe and connector. Do not forcefully bend or twist the nylon tube. Check for any dirt and foreign matter on the pipe seal surface. Clean if necessary. Put the pipe and connector ends in plastic bags to prevent damage and dirt contamination. If the pipe and connector are stuck together, pinch the tube between your fingers and turn it carefully to free it. Then disconnect the tube.
  7. REMOVE FUEL DELIVERY PIPE Disconnect the 2 delivery pipe connectors. Disconnect the 4 wire harness clamps. Remove the 4 bolts and 2 fuel delivery pipes. NOTE: When removing the delivery pipe, hold the pipe by both ends and pull it straight upward. Remove the 4 delivery pipe spacers and 8 insulators from the cylinder head.
  8. REMOVE FUEL INJECTOR ASSEMBLY Remove the 8 fuel injectors from the fuel delivery pipes. NOTE: For reinstallation, attach a tag or label to the injector shaft. Disconnect the connector from the injector. Remove the O-ring from the fuel injector.

  1. INSPECT FUEL INJECTOR ASSEMBLY Check the resistance of the injector. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below. Standard resistance STANDARD RESISTANCE Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition 1 - 2 20°C (68°F) 11.6 to 12.4 ohms If the resistance is not as specified, replace the injector. Inspect the injection volume. CAUTION: This test involves high-pressure fuel and electricity. Take all precautions regarding safe handling of both the fuel and electricity components. Perform this test in a safe area, and avoid any sparks or flames. Do not smoke. Remove the fuel pipe clamp. Disconnect the fuel tube. NOTE: Do not use any tools in this procedure. HINT: If the connector and tube are stick, pinch the connector and push and pull the tube to disconnect them. Connect SST to the vehicle side fuel pipe. SST 09268-31012 (09268-41500, 90467-13001, 95336-08070, 09268-41300, 09268-41600) Install a new the O-ring to the fuel injector. Install SST and the tube to the fuel injector. SST 09268-31012 (09268-41500, 90467-13001, 95336-08070, 09268-41300, 09268-41600) Put the injector into a graduated cylinder. CAUTION: Install a strong rubber tube onto the injector to prevent gasoline from splashing. Operate the fuel pump (turn the engine switch on (IG)). Connect SST (wire) to the injector and the battery for 15 seconds, and measure the injection volume with the graduated cylinder. Test each injector 2 or 3 times. SST 09842-30090 Standard injection volume: 84 to 102 cc (5.1 to 6.2 cu. in.) per 15 seconds Difference between each injector: 18 cc (1.1 cu. in.) or less If the injection volume is not as specified, replace the injector. Check for leakage. In the condition above, disconnect the tester probes of SST (wire) from the battery and check for fuel leakage from the injector. Standard fuel drop: 1 drop or less in 20 minutes

  1. INSTALL FUEL INJECTOR ASSEMBLY Apply gasoline to a new O-ring and install it to the injector. NOTE: Check that there is no damage or foreign material in the groove of the injector when installing the injector O-ring. Connect the connector to the injector. Install the injector to the delivery pipe as shown in the illustration. NOTE: Make sure that there are no scratches or foreign matter in or around the insertion hole of the delivery pipe. When inserting the injector, be careful not to damage the O-ring. Attach the part of the injector labeled B between the parts of the delivery pipe labeled A.
  2. INSTALL FUEL DELIVERY PIPE Install the 4 delivery pipe spacers and 8 insulators to the cylinder head. Install the 2 delivery pipes (with injector) to the cylinder head. Install the 4 bolts. Torque: 21 N*m (214 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf) NOTE: Check that the part of the injector labeled B is between the parts of the delivery pipe labeled A. Connect the 4 wire harness clamps. Connect the 2 delivery pipe connectors.
  3. CONNECT FUEL TUBE SUB-ASSEMBLY Push in the tube connector to the pipe until the tube connector makes a "click" sound. Push down on the retainer to lock it in place. NOTE: Check that there is no damage or foreign objects on the connected part of the fuel pipe. After connecting, check that the fuel tube connector and the pipe are securely connected by pulling on them.
  4. CONNECT NO. 3 FUEL HOSE Push in the tube connector to the pipe until the tube connector makes a "click" sound. Install the fuel pipe clamp. NOTE: Check that there is no damage or foreign objects on the connected part of the fuel pipe. After connecting, check that the fuel tube connector and the pipe are securely connected by pulling on them.
  5. INSTALL INTAKE MANIFOLD Install the intake manifold (see «INSTALLATION»(ref-349728-S03199878042009120800000) ).
  6. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

  10. REMOVE NO. 4 FUEL PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY Using a 19 mm union nut wrench, remove the fuel pipe.
  11. REMOVE PCV HOSE Remove the hose from the PCV valve.
  12. REMOVE NO. 2 FUEL DELIVERY PIPE Disconnect the fuel pressure sensor connector. Disconnect the 4 injector connectors. Remove the 5 bolts and delivery pipe from the cylinder head. NOTE: Be extremely careful not to touch or strike the tips of the injectors. Pull and remove the fuel delivery pipe in a straight line without tilting it. Remove the 4 injector vibration insulators from the cylinder head.
  13. REMOVE FUEL DELIVERY PIPE Disconnect the No. 3 fuel hose. Disconnect the 4 injector connectors. Remove the 5 bolts and delivery pipe from the cylinder head. NOTE: Be extremely careful not to touch or strike the tips of the injectors. Pull and remove the fuel delivery pipe in a straight line without tilting it. Remove the 4 injector vibration insulators from the cylinder head.
  14. REMOVE FUEL INJECTOR ASSEMBLY Secure the delivery pipe between aluminum plates in a vise and pull out the injector in a straight line. NOTE: Pull and remove the injector in a straight line to avoid damage to the seal surface of the delivery pipe O-ring. For reinstallation, attach a tag or label to the injector shaft. Remove the nozzle holder clamp from the injector. Remove the O-ring, backup rings and E-ring from the fuel injector.
  15. REMOVE FUEL INJECTOR SEAL Using the tips of needle-nose pliers, pinch and pull one of the 2 injector seals at several points to stretch it. Repeat this for the other injector seal. NOTE: Excessively pinching the injector seal may damage the groove of the injector. If an injector is dropped or the tips of the injectors are struck, replace it with a new one. Remove the 2 injector seals from the injector.

INSPECT FUEL INJECTOR ASSEMBLY NOTE: This inspection aims at inspecting the fuel injectors for opens or shorts, because the fuel injectors of this vehicle are a high-pressure type and a fuel injection volume inspection cannot be performed. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below. Standard resistance STANDARD RESISTANCE Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition 1 - 2 20°C (68°F) 2.01 to 2.31 ohms If the result is not as specified, replace the injector assembly.

  1. INSTALL FUEL INJECTOR SEAL Apply engine conditioner to the clean area shown in the illustration. Using a piece of cloth, clean carbon deposits from the injector and its grooves. NOTE: Do not clean the tip of the injector. Do not use a wire brush to clean the injector. If an injector is dropped or the tips of the injectors is struck, replace it with a new one. Apply engine oil to the injector contact surface of SST (guide). Then attach SST (guide) to the injector with the tapered inner portion facing the tip of the injector, as shown in the illustration. SST 09260-39015 (09268-03020) Install a new injector seal to SST (holder). SST 09260-39015 (09268-03010) NOTE: Be careful not to install the injector seal to SST (holder) at an angle. Doing so will stretch the seal and correcting this problem is very complicated. Install SST (holder with injector seal) to the tip of the injector. Slide the seal downward into the injector groove (injector connector side) with your fingers, as shown in the illustration. SST 09260-39015 (09268-03010, 09268-03020) HINT: Check that the seal covers the circumference of the injector groove as shown in the illustration. Using SST (holder), gently press downward on the injector seal (injector connector side). Then slowly slide SST (guide) towards the injector tip to settle the seal into the injector groove. SST 09260-39015 (09268-03010, 09268-03020) NOTE: Be careful that the seal is not pinched between SST (guide) and the injector groove. Replace the seal if it becomes damaged. HINT: When using SST (guide) to settle the seal into the groove, SST (guide) only needs to be slid upward to the position labeled A in the illustration. After using SST (guide) to settle the seal into the groove, return SST (guide) to its position labeled B in the illustration. Install a new injector seal to SST (holder). SST 09260-39015(09268-03010) NOTE: Be careful not to install the injector seal to SST (holder) at an angle. Doing so will stretch the seal and correcting this problem is very complicated. Install SST (holder with injector seal) to the tip of the injector. Slide the seal downward into the injector groove (injector tip side) with your fingers, as shown in the illustration. SST 09260-39015 (09268-03010, 09268-03020) NOTE: Make sure that the seal does not slip into the welded groove of the injector shown in the illustration. If it does, replace it with a new one. HINT: Check that the seal covers the circumference of the injector groove as shown in the illustration. Slowly slide SST (guide) towards the tip of the injector. When the injector contact surface of SST (guide) aligns with the seal (injector connector side) as shown in the illustration, hold the position for 5 seconds or more to fully align the seal into the injector groove. SST 09260-39015 (09268-03020) NOTE: Be careful that the seal is not pinched between SST (guide) and the injector groove. Replace the seal if it becomes damaged. HINT: Set SST (guide) so that its bottom surface and seal are flush. If it is difficult to slide SST upward, slowly wiggle it from side to side while sliding it up the injector little by little. Using SST (holder), gently press downward on the injector seal (injector tip side). Then slowly slide SST (guide) towards the injector tip to settle the seal into the injector groove. Slowly slide SST (guide) towards the tip of the injector. When the injector contact surface of SST (guide) aligns with the seal (injector tip side) as shown in the illustration, hold the position for 5 seconds or more to fully align the seal into the injector groove. HINT: Set SST (guide) so that its bottom surface and the seal's bottom surface are flush. If it is difficult to slide SST upward, slowly wiggle it from side to side while sliding it up the injector little by little. After installing the seals, check that the seals are not scratched, deformed or protruding from the injector grooves. If the seal is scratched, deformed or protruding from the groove, replace it with a new one.
  2. INSTALL FUEL INJECTOR ASSEMBLY Install a new O-ring, backup rings (No. 1, No. 2 and No. 3) and a new E-ring to the fuel injector as shown in the illustration. NOTE: Check that there is no foreign matter or damaged areas in the injector O-ring groove. Check that the No. 1 and No. 2 backup rings are installed in the correct direction. Make sure that the backup rings and O-ring are installed in the correct order. Check that the alignment openings of the backup rings are not overlapped or stretched as shown in the illustration. After installing the O-ring, check that it is not contaminated with foreign matter and is not damaged. Install the injector nozzle holder clamp. Apply gasoline to the O-ring. Install the nozzle holder clamp by aligning the protruding part of the clamp to the notch of the delivery pipe. NOTE: The injector connectors can be differentiated by the color of the insulators, which are black, yellow, green or brown. Install the injectors so that insulators are the same color for a given bank. Make sure that there is no gap between the delivery pipe and clamp. Check that there is no foreign matter or damage to the injector insertion hole of the delivery pipe. Insert the injector straight into the delivery pipe without tilting it.
  3. INSTALL NO. 2 FUEL DELIVERY PIPE Install 4 new injector vibration insulators to the cylinder head. Apply lubricant to the injector seal and installation holes. Install the delivery pipe (with injectors) to the cylinder head with the 5 bolts. Torque: 21 N*m (214 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf) NOTE: If an injector is dropped or the tips of the injectors is struck, replace it with a new one. Check that there is no foreign matter or damage to the injector insertion hole of the cylinder head. When inserting the fuel delivery pipe, push it in evenly without tilting it. Connect the 4 injector connectors. Connect the fuel pressure sensor connector.
  4. INSTALL FUEL DELIVERY PIPE Install 4 new injector vibration insulators to the cylinder head. Apply lubricant to the injector seal and installation holes. Install the delivery pipe (with injectors) to the cylinder head with the 5 bolts. Torque: 21 N*m (214 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf) NOTE: If an injector is dropped or the tips of the injectors is struck, replace it with a new one. Check that there is no foreign matter or damage to the injector insertion hole of the cylinder head. When inserting the fuel delivery pipe, push it in evenly without tilting it. Connect the 4 injector connectors. Connect the No. 3 fuel hose.
  5. INSTALL PCV HOSE Install the hose to the PCV valve.
  6. INSTALL NO. 4 FUEL PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY Temporarily install the fuel pipe. Using a 19 mm union nut wrench, tighten the fuel pipe in the order shown in the illustration. Torque: without union nut wrench 30 N*m (306 kgf*cm, 22 ft.*lbf) with union nut wrench 27 N*m (275 kgf*cm, 20 ft.*lbf) NOTE: After installing the fuel pipe, check that the fuel pipe protector contacts with the separator case. HINT: Use a torque wrench with a fulcrum length of 30 cm (11.8 in.). Make sure use union nut wrench and torque wrench are connected in a straight line.

  10. INSTALL NO. 3 FUEL PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY Install a new O-ring, new backup rings (No. 1 and No. 2) and new E-ring to the fuel injector as shown in the illustration. NOTE: Check that there is no foreign matter or damaged areas in the injector's O-ring groove. Check that the No. 1 and No. 2 backup rings are installed in the correct direction. Make sure that the backup rings and O-ring are installed in the correct order. Check that the alignment openings of the backup rings are not overlapped or stretched as shown in the illustration. After installing the O-ring, check that it is not contaminated with foreign matter and is not damaged. Temporarily install the No. 3 fuel pipe to the delivery pipe with the 2 bolts. Temporarily install the No. 3 fuel pipe to the fuel pump. NOTE: Be careful not to damage the sealing surface of the fuel pipe when temporarily installing the fuel pipe. Tighten the 2 bolts in several passes. Torque: 10 N*m (102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf) Using a 19 mm union nut wrench, tighten the union nut. Torque: without union nut wrench 30 N*m (306 kgf*cm, 22 ft.*lbf) with union nut wrench 27 N*m (275 kgf*cm, 20 ft.*lbf) NOTE: There must be absolutely no free play in the union on the fuel pump side. If the union on the fuel pump side has free play, replace the fuel pump. HINT: Use a torque wrench with a fulcrum length of 30 cm (11.8 in.). Make sure use union nut wrench and torque wrench are connected in a straight line. Connect the fuel pump connector.
  11. INSTALL NO. 2 FUEL PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY HINT: The installation procedures are the same as the No. 3 fuel pipe.
  12. INSTALL FUEL PRESSURE PULSATION DAMPER ASSEMBLY Install the fuel pressure pulsation damper (see «INSTALLATION»(ref-349727-S10791541542009120800000) ).
  13. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
  14. PERFORM INITIALIZATION Perform initialization (see «INITIALIZATION»(ref-349706-S07943075812009120800000) ). NOTE: Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal.
