INSTALLATION

  1. INSTALL ID CODE BOX Connect the connector. Attach the 3 claws to install the ID code box.
  2. INSTALL AIR CONDITIONING UNIT ASSEMBLY Install the air conditioning unit (see «INSTALLATION»(ref-349723-S32631377022009120800000) ).
  3. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY Install the instrument panel safety pad (see «INSTALLATION»(ref-349746-S09854143102009120800000) ).
  4. REGISTER ECU CODE Register the ECU code (see «REGISTRATION»(ref-349726-S42728334572009120800000) ).

  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation. NOTE: After the engine switch is turned off, the HDD navigation system requires approximately 6 minutes to record various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, wait 6 minutes or more before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (see «INITIALIZATION»(ref-349706-S07943075812009120800000) ).
  2. REMOVE INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL LH (See «REMOVAL»(ref-349746-S04541701892009120800000) )
  3. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT CLUSTER MOLDING (See «REMOVAL»(ref-349746-S04541701892009120800000) )
  4. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY (See «REMOVAL»(ref-349746-S04541701892009120800000) )
  5. REMOVE CERTIFICATION ECU Disconnect the 2 connectors. Remove the nut and ECU.

  1. INSTALL CERTIFICATION ECU Install the ECU with the nut. Connect the 2 connectors.
