ADJUSTMENTS
| WARNING | Since it is possible to operate sun roof for 45-60 seconds after ignition is turned off, disconnect negative battery cable or wait at least 60 seconds before servicing sun roof. Failure to do so may result in serious personal injury. |
| CAUTION | When prying out garnishes (trim pieces) and other parts that are secured by clips, use a plastic tool or a flat-blade screwdriver with tape on tip to prevent damage. |
Height Alignment
Fully close sun roof. Measure sun roof height (distance between horizontal line of rooftop and horizontal line of weatherstrip). (Scheme 1) See SUN ROOF HEIGHT SPECIFICATIONS table. If height is not as specified, pry out garnishes (trim pieces) from left and right sides of sun roof opening. Adjust sun roof height by loosening or tightening adjustment bolts. (Scheme 2)

SUN ROOF HEIGHT SPECIFICATIONS
Parallel Alignment
Sun roof is misaligned if it is twisted in roof opening. (Scheme 3) Pry out garnishes (trim pieces) from left and right sides of sun roof opening. Remove glass panel. Reposition link until marks are aligned. (Scheme 4) Install glass panel. Tighten glass panel mounting nuts.
Front-To-Rear Alignment
Sun roof is misaligned if it is not centered between front and rear edges of roof opening. To adjust, pry out garnishes (trim pieces) from left and right sides of sun roof opening. Loosen glass panel mounting nuts and align. Tighten glass panel mounting nuts.

DRIVE CABLE ALIGNMENT
Ensure drive cable is in fully closed position. Adjust cable to align marks. (Scheme 4)
