1. FRONT SEAT HEATER By operating the refreshing seat switch, the temperature can be controlled within the range of 32 to 43°C (89 to 109°F). The refreshing seat switch indicator lights indicate seat heater operating status. The seat heaters of both seats are controlled by the seat heater control sub-assemblies.

OPERATION CHECK [04/2013 - ]

1. CHECK SEAT HEATER Turn the engine switch on (IG). Turn the refreshing seat switch (heater position) on and check that the indicator illuminates and the surface of the front seat warms up. Check that the front seat surface temperature changes according to the operation of the refreshing seat switch (heater position) as follows: HI --> MID --> LO. When the refreshing seat switch (heater position) is turned on, the timer operates. The timer is set based on the ambient air temperature. The surface temperature changes gradually as follows: HI --> MID --> LO. HINT: The length of time which each surface temperature setting operates, as controlled by the timer, varies depending on conditions such as ambient air temperature.
