1. PRECAUTION (w/ Navigation System for HDD) NOTE: After the engine switch is turned off, the display and navigation module display (HDD navigation system) records various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, make sure to wait at least 60 seconds before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. A hard disk drive (HDD) is built into the multi-display to store map data etc. which will be used for the navigation system. Therefore, make sure to read all of the precautions thoroughly before handling the multi-display.
2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL WARNING: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system. Refer to «PRECAUTION [08/2012 - ]»(ref-606516-S09770350952014032500000).
3. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH (w/o Illumination) HINT: Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side. Refer to «REMOVAL [08/2012 - ] - Step 49»(/lexus/is/ii-facelift-2-2010-2016/remont/exteriorinterior-trim/#interior-trim-service-information) .
4. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH (w/ Illumination) HINT: Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side. Refer to «REMOVAL [08/2012 - ] - Step 51»(/lexus/is/ii-facelift-2-2010-2016/remont/exteriorinterior-trim/#interior-trim-service-information) .
5. REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM COVER RH HINT: Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side. Refer to «REMOVAL [08/2012 - ] - Step 53»(/lexus/is/ii-facelift-2-2010-2016/remont/exteriorinterior-trim/#interior-trim-service-information) .
6. REMOVE SIDE INSTRUMENT PANEL RH . Refer to «REMOVAL [08/2012 - ] - Step 36»(/lexus/is/ii-facelift-2-2010-2016/remont/gauges-instrument-panels/#instrument-panel-safety-pad-service-information)
7. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY . Refer to «REMOVAL [08/2012 - ] - Step 37»(/lexus/is/ii-facelift-2-2010-2016/remont/gauges-instrument-panels/#instrument-panel-safety-pad-service-information)
8. REMOVE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE KNEE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY. Refer to «REMOVAL [08/2012 - ] - Step 8»(ref-606330-S37143119152014032500000)
9. REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY . Refer to «REMOVAL [08/2012 - ] - Step 39»(/lexus/is/ii-facelift-2-2010-2016/remont/gauges-instrument-panels/#instrument-panel-safety-pad-service-information)
10. REMOVE DCM (TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER) WITH BRACKET Disconnect each connector. Disengage the clamp. Remove the bolt, nut and DCM (telematics transceiver) with bracket.
11. REMOVE NO. 1 TELEPHONE BRACKET Remove the 2 screws and No. 1 telephone bracket.
12. REMOVE NO. 2 TELEPHONE BRACKET Remove the 2 screws and No. 2 telephone bracket.
13. REMOVE DCM (TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER)
