- REPLACE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (FRONT LEFT SENSOR) Replace the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor (front left sensor) with a normally functioning one. Refer to «REMOVAL»(ref-398311-S31933345342011051600000) . HINT: All of the sensors are interchangeable. To confirm whether a sensor is functioning normally, switch it with a known good sensor from the other end of the vehicle. NEXT: Go to next step

- PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM Connect the Techstream to the DLC3. Turn the power switch on (IG). Turn the Techstream on. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Intuitive P/A / Active Test. Check that the buzzer operates by performing the Active Test. INTUITIVE P/A Tester Display Test Part Control Range Diagnostic Note Buzzer Clearance warning buzzer Operate or Stop Confirm that the vehicle is stopped and the power switch is on (IG) OK The clearance warning buzzer sounds. - CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (CLEARANCE WARNING BUZZER - BATTERY) Disconnect the F104 connector from the clearance warning buzzer. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below. Standard Voltage Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition F104-1 - Body ground Power switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V F104-1 - Body ground Power switch off Below 1 V NG --> REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR OK: Go to next step
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (CLEARANCE WARNING ECU ASSEMBLY - CLEARANCE WARNING BUZZER) Disconnect the A31 connector from the clearance warning ECU assembly. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below. Standard Resistance Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition A31-12 (CBZ) - F104-2 Always Below 1 ohms A31-12 (CBZ) - Body ground Always 10 kohms or higher NG --> REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR OK: Go to next step
- REPLACE CLEARANCE WARNING BUZZER Replace the clearance warning buzzer with a new or normally functioning one. Refer to «REMOVAL»(ref-398311-S06468412682011051600000) . NEXT: Go to next step
- PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM Connect the Techstream to the DLC3. Turn the power switch on (IG). Turn the Techstream on.
