INSPECTION PROCEDURE
Note. Before performing troubleshooting, inspect the connectors of related circuits. If DTC C1782 (Power Source Voltage Malfunction) is output at the same time, perform troubleshooting for C1782 first. Refer to DTC C1782: Power Source Voltage Malfunction . Before replacing the absorber control ECU, perform all of the following again: 1) symptom simulation. Refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [03/2012 - ] ; 2) DTC inspection. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [03/2012 - ] ; and 3) Techstream inspection (ECU Data List or Active Test. Refer to DATA LIST / ACTIVE TEST [03/2012 - ] ). If no malfunctions are found in other areas, replace the absorber control ECU. When the absorber control ECU is replaced, switch to test mode and check that all test mode DTCs are cleared when their respective deletion conditions are met. Refer to TEST MODE PROCEDURE [03/2012 - ] .

- READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (IG POWER SOURCE VOLTAGE) Turn the power switch off. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3. Turn the power switch on (IG). Turn the Techstream on. Enter the following menus: Chassis / Air suspension / Data List. - CHECK FOR DTC Clear the DTCs. Refer to «DTC CHECK / CLEAR [03/2012 - ]»(ref-600439-S15340138032014022400000) . Turn the power switch off. Check for DTCs. Refer to «DTC CHECK / CLEAR [03/2012 - ]»(ref-600439-S15340138032014022400000) . RESULT Result Proceed to DTC is not output A DTC is output B B --> See step 7 A --> See step 6
- INSPECT BATTERY Check the battery voltage. Standard voltage 11 to 14 V NG --> See step 8 OK: Go to next step
- CHECK TERMINAL VOLTAGE (B) Disconnect the absorber control ECU connector. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below. - CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (GND TERMINAL) Disconnect the absorber control ECU connector. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
