1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL WARNING: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.
2. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR MAT Remove the floor mat.
3. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT NO. 1 LIGHT ASSEMBLY Using a screwdriver, detach the claw and remove the light. HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use. Disconnect the connector.
4. REMOVE TOOL BOX Remove the tool box.
5. REMOVE REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE Remove the 2 bolts and 2 hooks. Remove the 3 clips labeled A. Detach the 4 clips to remove the finish plate.
6. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER FRONT Detach the hook. Remove the rope hook. Detach the 4 claws and remove the trim cover.
7. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER INNER LH Remove the bolt and hook. Remove the 3 clips and trim cover.
8. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER INNER RH Remove the bolt and hook. Remove the 3 clips and trim cover.
9. REMOVE MAYDAY ASSEMBLY Remove the 2 bolts and mayday assembly with wire harness. Disconnect the 5 connectors and 2 clamps and remove the mayday assembly.

1. REMOVE NO. 2 MOBILEPHONE BRACKET Remove the 2 bolts and bracket.
2. REMOVE MAYDAY ECU Remove the 4 bolts and ECU.
3. REMOVE MAYDAY BATTERY Remove the bolt, No. 4 mobilephone bracket and battery.
