  1. PRECAUTION WARNING: Be sure to read Precaution thoroughly before servicing. Refer to «PRECAUTION [06/2012 - ]»(ref-598650-S23841933652014021400000) . If the side airbag has deployed, replace the front seat airbag assembly, front seatback frame sub-assembly, separate type front seatback pad and separate type front seatback cover with the necessary parts in accordance with the extent of the collision damage. NOTE: After turning the engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notices before proceeding with work. Refer to «PRECAUTION [06/2012 - ]»(ref-598449-S42461431542014021400000) . HINT: Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side. The following procedure is for the LH side.
  2. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY
  3. REMOVE SEAT BELT ANCHOR COVER CAP . Refer to «REMOVAL [06/2012 - ] - Step 2»(ref-598452-S35659224932014021400000)
  4. DISCONNECT FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY . Refer to «REMOVAL [06/2012 - ] - Step 4»(ref-598452-S35659224932014021400000)
  5. REMOVE REAR OUTER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER Operate the slide and vertical power seat switch knob and move the seat to the foremost position. Disengage the 2 claws to remove the rear outer seat track bracket cover.
  6. REMOVE REAR INNER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER Disengage the 2 claws to remove the rear inner seat track bracket cover.
  7. REMOVE FRONT OUTER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER Operate the slide and vertical power seat switch knob and move the seat to the rearmost position. Disengage the 2 claws to remove the front outer seat track bracket cover.
  8. REMOVE FRONT INNER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER Disengage the 2 claws to remove the front inner seat track bracket cover.
  9. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY Operate the slide and vertical power seat switch knob and move the seat to the foremost position. Remove the 2 bolts on the rear side of the seat. Operate the slide and vertical power seat switch knob and move the seat to the rearmost position. Remove the 2 bolts on the front side of the seat. Operate the slide and vertical power seat switch knob and move the seat to the uppermost position. Operate the slide and vertical power seat switch knob and move the seat to the center position. Operate the reclining power seat switch knob and move the seatback to the upright position. w/ Variable Seat Cushion System: Operate the seat variable cushion switch and raise the leg rest part of the separate type front seat cushion cover with pad to the uppermost position. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. WARNING: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system. NOTE: When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected. Refer to «INITIALIZATION [06/2012 - ]»(ref-598449-S08309221792014021400000) . Disconnect each connector and disengage each clamp under the seat. Remove the front seat assembly. NOTE: Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.
