  1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. Refer to «Specifications»(/land-rover/range-rover/l322-2005-2009/remont/charging-system/#charging-system-general-information) .
  2. Remove the engine cover. Refer to «Engine Cover - 4.2L, Vehicles With: Supercharger»(/land-rover/range-rover/l322-2005-2009/remont/exteriorinterior-trim/#interior-trim-and-ornamentation) .
  3. Release the wiring harness from the PCV valve.
  4. Remove the PCV valve. Disconnect the PCV hose. Remove the 2 bolts. Remove and discard the 2 O-ring seals.

INSTALLATION

  1. Install the PCV valve. Clean the components. Install the new O-ring seals. Lubricate the O-ring seals with clean engine oil. Tighten the bolts to 10 Nm (7 lb.ft).
  2. Attach the wiring harness.
  3. Install the engine cover. Refer to «Engine Cover - 4.2L, Vehicles With: Supercharger»(/land-rover/range-rover/l322-2005-2009/remont/exteriorinterior-trim/#interior-trim-and-ornamentation) .
  4. Connect the battery ground cable. Refer to «Specifications»(/land-rover/range-rover/l322-2005-2009/remont/charging-system/#charging-system-general-information) .
