REMOVAL
- Remove the radiator grille. Refer to «Radiator Grille»(ref-522655-S03826774132013011500000) .
- Remove the ambient air temperature sensor. Disconnect the electrical connector.
INSTALLATION
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.

| WARNING | The SRS electrical connectors are unique. DO NOT force, or attempt to connect electrical connectors to the wrong sockets. |

| WARNING | It is imperative that before any work is undertaken on the SRS system, the appropriate information is read thoroughly. |
| WARNING | Always disconnect both battery cables before beginning work on the SRS system. Disconnect the ground cable first. Never reverse connect the battery. |

- Disconnect the battery ground cable. Refer to «Specifications»(ref-522601-S06524472732013011500000) .
- Remove the lower glove compartment. Refer to «Lower Glove Compartment»(ref-522624-S42270158652013011500000) .
- Remove the right-hand footwell duct. Remove the screw.
- Disconnect the blower motor resistor electrical connector.
- Remove the blower motor resistor. Release the retaining clip.
- Install the blower motor resistor.
- Connect the blower motor resistor electrical connector.
- Install the right-hand footwell duct. Install the screw.
- Install the lower glove compartment. Refer to «Lower Glove Compartment»(ref-522624-S42270158652013011500000) .
- Connect the battery ground cable. Refer to «Specifications»(ref-522601-S06524472732013011500000) .

- Remove the driver side floor console extension. Remove the screw. Release the 2 clips.
- Release the driver side closing trim panel. Remove the 4 screws. Remove the clip.
- Remove the driver side closing trim panel. Disconnect the 2 electrical connectors. Release the vehicle diagnostic socket.
- Remove the right-hand footwell duct. Remove the 2 screws.
- Disconnect the blower motor resistor electrical connector.
- Remove the blower motor resistor. Release the retaining clip.
- Install the blower motor resistor.
- Connect the blower motor resistor electrical connector.
- Install the right-hand footwell duct. Install the screws.
- Install the driver side closing trim panel. Attach the vehicle diagnostic socket. Connect the electrical connectors.
- Secure the driver side closing trim panel. Install the screws. Install the clip.
- Install the driver side floor console extension. Secure the clips. Install the screw.
Note. On high line models the climate control ECU is an integral part of the climate control assembly. Using the Land Rover approved diagnostic system, calibrate a new climate control assembly.

- Remove the RH floor console extension. Refer to «Floor Console Extension»(ref-522624-S18470671752013011500000) .
- Remove the LH floor console extension. Remove the screw. Release the 2 clips.
- Release the climate control assembly. Release the 4 clips.
- Remove the climate control assembly. Disconnect the 5 electrical connectors.
- Install the climate control assembly. Connect the electrical connectors.
- Attach the climate control assembly. Secure the clips.
- Install the LH floor console extension. Secure the clips. Tighten the screw.
- Install the RH floor console extension. Refer to «Floor Console Extension»(ref-522624-S18470671752013011500000) .
- Using the Land Rover approved diagnostic system, calibrate a new climate control assembly.

- Remove the driver side floor console extension. Remove the screw. Release the 2 clips.
- Release the driver side closing trim panel. Remove the 4 screws. Remove the clip.
- Remove the driver side closing trim panel. Disconnect the 2 electrical connectors. Release the vehicle diagnostic socket.
- Remove the passenger side floor console extension. Remove the screw. Release the 2 clips.
- Remove the passenger side closing trim panel. Remove the 3 screws. Disconnect the footwell lamp electrical connector.
- Remove the defrost vent blend door actuator. Disconnect the electrical connector. Release the clip.
- Install the defrost vent blend door actuator. Connect the electrical connector.
- Install the driver side closing trim panel. Connect the electrical connectors. Attach the vehicle diagnostic socket.
- Secure the driver side closing trim panel. Install the screws. Install the clip.
- Install the driver side floor console extension. Secure the clips. Install the screw.
- Install the passenger side closing trim panel. Connect the footwell lamp electrical connector. Install the screws.
- Install the passenger side floor console extension. Install the screw. Secure the clips.

- Make the air bag supplemental restraint system (SRS) safe. Refer to «Standard Workshop Practices»(ref-522635-S23526449972013011500000) .
- Disconnect the battery ground cable. Refer to «Specifications»(ref-522601-S06524472732013011500000) .
- Remove the lower glove compartment. Refer to «Lower Glove Compartment»(ref-522624-S42270158652013011500000) .
- Disconnect the central junction box (CJB) 8 electrical connectors.
- Release the CJB from the in-vehicle crossbeam. Remove the 4 screws.
- Remove the driver side floor console extension. Remove the screw. Release the 2 clips.
- Release the driver side closing trim panel. Remove the 4 screws. Remove the clip.
- Remove the driver side closing trim panel. Disconnect the 2 electrical connectors. Release the vehicle diagnostic socket.
- Remove the recirculation blend door actuator. Disconnect the electrical connector.
- Install the recirculation blend door actuator. Connect the electrical connector.
- Install the CJB. Install the screws.
- Connect the CJB electrical connectors.
- Install the driver side closing trim panel. Connect the electrical connectors. Attach the vehicle diagnostic socket.
- Secure the driver side closing trim panel. Install the screws. Install the clip.
- Install the driver side floor console extension. Secure the clips. Install the screw.
- Install the lower glove compartment. Refer to «Lower Glove Compartment»(ref-522624-S42270158652013011500000) .
- Disconnect the battery ground cable. Refer to «Specifications»(ref-522601-S06524472732013011500000) .
- Remove the instrument panel driver side reinforcement. Refer to «Instrument Panel Driver Side Reinforcement»(ref-522624) .
- Remove the driver side footwell duct. Remove the 2 Torx screws.
- Remove the temperature blend door actuator. Disconnect the electrical connector. Remove the 2 screws.
- Install the temperature blend door actuator. Tighten the screws. Connect the electrical connector.
- Install the driver side footwell duct. Tighten the screws.
- Install the instrument panel driver side reinforcement. Refer to «Instrument Panel Driver Side Reinforcement»(ref-522624) .

- Install the footwell duct blend door actuator. Connect the electrical connector. Secure the clips.
- Install the instrument panel center reinforcement. Install the screws.
- Install the lower center registers panel assembly. Refer to «Lower Center Registers Panel Assembly»(ref-522624-S38049259602013011500000) .
- Install the floor console. Refer to «Floor Console»(ref-522624-S34208221492013011500000) .
- Install the climate controlled seat switch. Refer to «Climate Controlled Seat Switch»(ref-522682-S05325126482013011500000) .
- Connect the battery ground cable. Refer to «Specifications»(ref-522601-S06524472732013011500000) .

- Fully extend the steering column for access.
- Remove the instrument panel access panel. Release the 2 clips.
- Remove the steering column upper shroud. Release the 6 clips.
- Remove the steering column lower shroud. Remove the 3 Torx screws. Release the steering column adjustment lever.
- Remove the steering column side trim panel. Release the clips. Repeat the above procedure for the other side.
- Release the steering column gaiter panel. Remove the 2 Torx screws. Release the 2 clips.
- Remove the in-vehicle temperature sensor. Release the 2 clips. Disconnect the electrical connector. Disconnect the hose.
- Install the in-vehicle temperature sensor. Connect the hose. Connect the electrical connector. Secure the clips.
- Install the steering column gaiter panel. Secure with the clips. Tighten the Torx screws.
- Install the steering column side trim panels. Secure with the clips.
- Install the steering column shrouds.
- Install the instrument panel access panel.

- Connect the battery ground cable. Refer to «Specifications»(ref-522601-S06524472732013011500000) .

- Remove the passenger side closing trim panel. Release the clip. Remove the 2 screws. Disconnect the electrical connector.

- Remove the temperature blend door actuator. Disconnect the electrical connector. Remove the 2 screws.
- Install the temperature blend door actuator. Tighten the screws. Connect the electrical connector.
- Install the passenger side footwell duct elbow. Tighten the screws.
- Install the passenger side footwell duct. Install the clip.
- Install the passenger side closing trim panel. Install the interior lamp. Connect the electrical connector. Secure the clip.
- Install the glove compartment. Refer to «Instrument Panel Console»(ref-522624) .
