INSTALLATION

  1. Raise and support the vehicle.
  2. Remove the engine undershield. Refer to «ENGINE UNDERSHIELD»(ref-531949-S17696129762013022000000) .
  3. Torque: 10 Nm
  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Scheme 6: REMOVAL
  1. Raise and support the vehicle.
  2. Remove the intake manifold assembly. Refer to «INTAKE MANIFOLD»(ref-531921-S34523514272013022000000) .
  3. Remove the ECT sensor.
  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
  1. For H02S anti-seize compound information, refer to the specification information.
  2. Apply anti-seize compound to the sensor threads.
  3. Install the HO2S. Wrench, H02S (310-121) Torque: 45 Nm
  4. Connect the HO2S electrical connector.
  5. Install the engine cover. Refer to «ENGINE COVER»(ref-531951-S06303498242013022000000) .
  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
  2. If required, carry out a long drive cycle. See «POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE (PCM) LONG DRIVE CYCLE SELF-TEST»(ref-531942-S33376475422013022000000) .

  1. Torque: 2 Nm
  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

  1. Remove the cover and disconnect the battery ground cable. Refer to «SPECIFICATIONS»(ref-531959-S27829531522013022000000) .
  2. Remove the plenum chamber panel. Refer to «PLENUM CHAMBER»(ref-531912-S40693108652013022000000) .
  3. Petrol ECM shown, diesel similar.
  4. Torque: 6 Nm
  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
  2. Renew the engine oil and filter. Engine Oil Draining and Filling. Refer to «ENGINE OIL DRAINING AND FILLING»(ref-531921-S39036754412013022000000) .
  3. If a new component has been installed, configure using Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment.

  1. Remove the cover and disconnect the battery ground cable. Refer to «SPECIFICATIONS»(ref-531959-S27829531522013022000000) .
  2. Remove the fuel rail. Refer to «FUEL RAIL»(ref-531973-S32012270592013022000000) .
  3. Torque: 6 Nm
  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

  2. Remove the oil cooler assembly. Refer to «OIL COOLER»(ref-531921-S26051175902013022000000) .
  3. Remove the knock sensor (KS). Torque: 20 Nm
  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
