Removal & Installation (Discovery Series II)
Release cheater panel from front door and remove anti-rattle foam pad. Release mirror connector from mounting plate. Disconnect mirror connector. Remove 3 bolts securing mirror assembly to door and remove mirror and collect mounting plate. (Scheme 1) To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten mounting bolts to 36 INCH lbs. (4 N.m).

Removal & Installation (Range Rover)
Carefully pry off interior trim, and disconnect 2 speaker electrical connectors. Remove interior trim. (Scheme 2) Disconnect mirror electrical connector. Remove 3 screws and power mirror assembly. To install, reverse removal procedure.
