DESCRIPTION
Hydraulic pressure is supplied from power steering pump to rack and pinion by a pressure line. A control valve in rack and pinion assembly controls supply pressure. A return line returns power steering fluid to an external fluid reservoir that feeds power steering pump. Tie rod ends connect to steering knuckles. A "U" joint type coupler connects steering column to rack and pinion. (Scheme 3)
