- With the multi function switch in each position, make sure that continuity exists between the terminals below. If continuity is not as specified, replace the multi-function switch

- Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
- Remove the steering column upper and lower shrouds (A) after removing 3 screws.
- Disconnect the light switch connector (A) and the wiper switch connector (B).
- Remove the wiper switch (A) by pushing the lock pin (B). NOTE: When removing the wiper & washer switch only, release the lock of wiper switch without removing the steering wheel.
- Remove the clock spring(A).
- Loosen the screws from the multifunction switch assembly.
- Remove the multifunction switch assembly(A) after loosening the connectors.
