RESETTING THE DRIVER'S DOOR REGULATOR
When the battery happens to be disconnected or discharged, have to reset the driver's door regulator as follows
- Push the up switch, raise the glass up to the highest end, and then hold the up switch for more than 0.5 second.
- The door regulator will be reset.

- Disconnect negative battery cable.
- Remove door inner handle cover. Remove door inner handle cover screw (1). Remove inner handle cover.
- Remove outside rearview mirror garnish. Remove garnish from door frame. Disconnect electrical connector.
- Remove assist grip cover, (only passenger side) Remove assist grip cover. Remove screws (2).
- Remove door trim. Remove door pull handle screw (1). Remove door trim fasteners (4). Disconnect electrical connector.
- Remove door inner handle and pull handle bracket. Remove door lock rod. Remove inner handle bracket screws (3). Remove pull handle bracket screws (2).
- Remove outside rearview mirror folding control unit. Remove screw (1). Disconnect electrical connector.
- Remove door speaker. Remove door speaker screws (3). Disconnect electrical connector.
- Remove door screen. NOTE: Peel door screen off carefully so that it can be reused.
- Remove window glass. Reconnect power window switch connector. Connect negative battery cable. Turn ignition switch "ON" and position window glass bolt access hole. Turn ignition switch "OFF". Remove glass run channel. Remove window glass grip bolts (2). Tightening torque: 8-12 N.m (0.8-1.2 kg.m, 6-9 lb. ft) Disconnect negative battery cable.
- Remove window glass guide. Remove window glass guide (front) bolt (1) and nut (1). Tightening torque: 8-12 N.m (0.8-1.2 kg.m, 6-9 lb. ft) Remove window glass guide (rear) bolt (1). Tightening torque: 8-12 N.m (0.8-1.2 kg.m, 6-9 lb. ft)
- Remove power window regulator assembly. Remove power window regulator nuts (6). Tightening torque: 4-6 N.m (0.4-0.6 kg.m, 3-4 lb. ft) Disconnect electrical connector.
- Install in reverse order of removal.

- Disconnect negative battery cable.
- Remove door inner handle cover. Remove door inner handle screw (1). Remove door inner handle cover.
- Remove assist grip cover. Remove assist grip cover. Remove screws (2).
- Remove door trim. Remove door pull handle screw (1). Remove door trim fasteners (4). Disconnect electrical connector.
- Remove door inner handle and door pull handle bracket. Remove door lock rod. Remove door inner handle screws (2). Remove door pull handle bracket screws (2).
- Remove door speaker. Remove door speaker screws (3). Disconnect electrical connector.
- Remove door screen.
- Remove window glass run channel.
- Remove window glass guide. Remove window glass guide (front) bolts (2) and screw (1). Tightening torque: 8-12 N.m (0.8-1.2 kg.m, 6-9 lb. ft)
- Remove fixed glass.
- Remove window glass. Reconnect power window switch connector. Connect negative battery cable. Turn ignition switch "ON" and position window glass grip bolt access hole. Turn ignition switch "OFF". Remove window glass grip bolts (2). Tightening torque: 8-12 N.m (0.8-1.2 kg.m, 6-9 lb. ft) Disconnect negative battery cable.
- Remove window regulator assembly. Remove window regulator nuts (6). Tightening torque: 4-6 N.m (0.4-0.6 kg.m, 3-4 lb. ft) Disconnect electrical connector.
- Install in reverse order of removal.
