Removal & Installation
Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove air cleaner assembly, if necessary. Disconnect all 3 generator terminals. Loosen pivot bolt and adjusting bolt to remove drive belt. Remove mounting bolts and lift out generator. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten all bolts and nuts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
Remove power mirror switch. Remove defroster grille. Remove steering wheel and column covers. Remove combination switch. Remove instrument cluster bezel. Remove instrument cluster screws. Pull out instrument cluster and disconnect wiring harness connectors. Remove instrument cluster. To install, reverse removal procedure.
