Removal & Installation: Removal & Installation Kia Rio I facelift

1. Disconnect negative battery cable.
2. Remove fresh air duct.
3. Drain coolant.
4. Remove components in the order shown. see scheme 131

INSTALLATION

1. Install in the reverse order of removal.
2. After installation, fill engine coolant and check coolant leakage

Scheme 130

1. Connect a coolant system pressure tester to the radiator filler neck.
2. Apply 15 psi (103 kPa, 1.05 kg/cm 2 ) pressure to the system.
3. Verify that the pressure remains steady at 15 psi (103 kPa, 1.05 kg/cm 2 ).
4. If not, check system for coolant leakage.
