- Remove the wheel and tire.
- Detach the brake hose from the fork.
- Remove the bolt from the shock absorber bushing.
- Remove the bolt then remove the fork from the shock absorber.
- Remove the strut upper mounting 3 nuts and top mounting ring.
- While pushing the axle assembly upward, remove the strut assembly.
Scheme 10
- Using the special tool, spring compressor, compress the coil spring.
- Remove the self-locking nut.
- Remove the special tool, bracket, spring pad and coil spring.
