  1. With the multi function switch in each position, make sure that continuity exists between the terminals . If continuity is not as specified in «WIPER AND WASHER SWITCH CONTINUITY SPECIFICATIONS»(ref-362267-S00822270952010060400000) , replace the multi-function switch.

  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Remove the steering column upper (A) and lower (B) shrouds after removing 3 screws.
  3. Disconnect the light switch connector (A) and the wiper switch connector (B) .
  4. Remove the wiper switch (A) by pushing the lock pin (B) . NOTE: When removing the wiper & washer switch only, release the lock of wiper switch without removing the steering wheel.
  5. Remove the clock spring (A) .
  6. Loosen the screws from the multifunction switch assembly (A) .
  7. Remove the multifunction switch assembly (A) .
