The horn system consists of the following

1. Power distribution box fuse 38 (20A)
2. Power distribution box with integral relay
3. Horn
4. Air bag sliding contact
5. Wiring harness
6. Horn switch
7. Generic electronic module

Scheme 2

The horn system consists of the following

1. Power distribution box fuse 3 (20A)
2. Power distribution box relay 2
3. Horn
4. Air bag sliding contact
5. Wiring harness
6. Horn switch
7. Generic electronic module

The horn system is designed to sound the horn when the horn switch is operated. The horn relay is supplied voltage at all times through power distribution box. Operating the horn switch provides a ground circuit to the coil side of the horn relay. In turn, the switch side of the horn relay is closed, allowing voltage to be supplied to the horn.

1. Verify the customer concern.
2. Visually inspect for obvious signs of mechanical or electrical damage.
