OXYGEN SENSOR OR O2S WARNING LIGHT RESET - PROCEDURE 1
- After 30,000 miles, the oxygen sensor light in dash will come on, indicating oxygen sensor must be replaced. After replacing sensor, reset mileage counter.
- To reset counter (after replacing sensor), locate interval counter (in-line with speedometer cable on right side of engine compartment or behind panel in glove box). Reset counter using Key (BLT-5007) supplied in kit with new sensor.
- Models with electronic speedometers have a mileage counter in trunk. Counter is behind left side trim, adjacent to wheel arch, behind panel at rear of seat. To reset counter, push White reset button.

SERVICE INTERVAL INDICATOR RESET INDEX
SERVICE INTERVAL INDICATOR RESET - PROCEDURE 1
If the vehicle is within 3,200 kilometers (1,988 miles) of a service, the message center will display 'SERVICE REQUIRED IN XXXX km or MILES'. The display reduces the 'service required in' readout by increments every 50 kilometers (30 miles). If this distance drops below 1 km (0.6 miles), the message center will display 'SERVICE REQUIRED'. These messages are displayed every time the vehicle enters power mode 6, for 4 seconds after the instrument cluster bulb check routine has finished
Note. NOTE: The message center will display distance to next service in miles on an instrument cluster fitted with a Miles Per Hour (MPH) speedometer unless the driver has changed the display units on the Touch Screen Display (TSD)
Reset Procedure
- With the vehicle in power mode 0, (ignition off) press and hold the rear fog lamp switch.
- Allow the vehicle to enter power mode 6 (Press the start button without a foot on the brake).
- Immediately release the rear fog lamp switch.
- Press and hold the trip computer cycle switch. NOTE: The Trip button is located on the end of the LH multifunction switch.
- Press and hold the rear fog lamp switch.
- Continue to hold the trip computer and rear fog lamp switches.
- If the process has been successful, the message center will display 'RESETTING SERVICE MODE' and then display 'SERVICE MODE RESET' after 10 seconds.
- Release both switches and return the vehicle ignition to off, power mode 0.

SERVICE INTERVAL INDICATOR RESET - PROCEDURE 2
Note. The service information is displayed in the message center for 4 seconds at each ignition cycle. There is no minus figure if the service distance is exceeded, 'Service Required' is displayed, via a CAN bus message from the instrument cluster, until the ECM service counter is reset using an approved Jaguar Diagnostic System. Follow the scan tool on-screen instructions to reset the Service Interval Announcer (SIA).

Note. Make sure the Jaguar approved diagnostic equipment is not connected to the vehicle.
- Set the ignition to the ON position.
- Open the hood.
- Open the drivers door.
- Fully depress both the accelerator and brake pedals and hold for 10 seconds. NOTE: A service resetting message will appear on the instrument cluster (except models with 2.2L diesel engines).
- Set the ignition to the OFF position.
- Set the ignition to the ON position and check the message has been cleared.
- If the message remains, repeat the process.
TPMS RESET - PROCEDURE 1
Tire Pressure Sensor Initiation: If tire pressure sensor is replaced on a road wheel, the sensor will be learned by the system when vehicle is first driven at a speed of 12.5 MPH (20 KM/H) or more for 15 minutes. This process is called the auto-location function and takes 7-8 minutes to be completed. If the vehicle speed is decreased while the auto-location function is activated, the learn process timer will be suspended until the vehicle reaches the required speed. If the required speed is not reached for more than 15 minutes, the learn process timer will be set to zero and will restart once the required speed is reached.
TPMS RESET - PROCEDURE 2
Note. If a new tire pressure sensor if fitted to the spare tire, it will need to be programmed. To perform this procedure, a Jaguar-approved diagnostic tool must be used. The sensor ID code is printed on the casing (prefixed by ID).
Note. The TPM system is not affected by wheel and tire rotation.

TPMS RESET - PROCEDURE 3
If the tire pressure sensors fitted to the running wheels vehicle are changed, the module can learn the new sensor identifications automatically, using an 'auto-location' function The TPMS module automatically re-learns the position of the wheels on the vehicle if the tire pressure sensors are replaced or the wheel positions on the vehicle are changed. The TPMS can learn the new sensor identification automatically when the vehicle is driven for more than 15 minutes at a speed of more than 12 mph (20 km/h).
Note. Tire pressure sensors are not fitted to the space saver spare wheel and therefore the spare wheel is not monitored.
The TPMS software can automatically detect, under all operating conditions, the following
- One or more new tire pressure sensors have been fitted.
- One or more tire pressure sensors have stopped transmitting.
- TPMS module can reject identifications from tire pressure sensors which do not belong to the vehicle.
- Two 'running' wheels on the vehicle have changed positions.
The tire learn and location process is ready to commence when the vehicle has been stationary or travelling at less than 12 mph (20 km/h) for 15 minutes. This is known as 'parking mode'. The learn/locate process requires the vehicle to be driven at speeds of more than 12 mph (20 km/h) for 15 minutes. If the vehicle speed reduces to below 12 mph (20 km/h), the learn process timer is suspended until the vehicle speed increases to more than 12 mph (20 km/h), after which time the timer is resumed. If the vehicle speed remains below 12 mph (20 km/h) for more than 15 minutes, the timer is set to zero and process starts again.
