Inspection and Verification - Diagnostic Procedures

1. Verify the customer concern.
2. Visually inspect for obvious signs of mechanical or electrical damage. Visual Inspection Chart Mechanical Electrical Refrigerant Heater control flaps Ducting Fuse(s) Harness Electrical connectors Switch(es)
3. If an obvious cause for an observed or reported concern is found, correct the cause (if possible) before proceeding to the next step.
4. If the cause is not visually evident, verify the symptom and refer to the Jaguar Approved Diagnostic System.

Scheme 4

1. Remove the driver side instrument panel lower trim panel.
2. Disconnect the air discharge temperature sensor electrical connector.
3. Remove the air discharge temperature sensor.
