MIRROR CONTROL PANEL SWITCHES
Turn ignition off. Remove mirror control panel from center console. Mirror control panel contains mirror control switch, defogger switch and folding switch. (Scheme 5) Using an ohmmeter, check for continuity between specified terminals for each switch while operating switch in specified positions. (Scheme 6) Replace any switch that does not test as specified.

DEFOGGER CONTROL SWITCH

POWER MIRROR MOTOR
Turn ignition off. Disconnect mirror motor connector. Test power mirror motors by applying battery voltage and ground to specified terminals of mirror motor terminals. See POWER MIRROR MOTOR TEST table. (Scheme 7) If power mirror does not operate as specified positions, replace mirror assembly.

BOTH POWER MIRRORS INOPERATIVE
Check AUDIO/MIRROR (10-amp) fuse.
DEFOGGERS ON BOTH MIRRORS INOPERATIVE
Check ELEC-IGN (10-amp) fuse. If fuse is okay, check Defogger switch and wiring circuit.
FOLDING MECHANISM FOR BOTH MIRRORS INOPERATIVE
Check AUDIO/MIRROR (10-amp) fuse, folding switch and wiring circuit.
