Removal & Installation (Passport, Rodeo & Rodeo Sport - Front Doors)
- Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove power window switch. See «POWER WINDOW SWITCH»(ref-91682-S28667181672001032700000). Pull out on inside door handle and remove screw. Pull out on front side of speaker grille. Remove speaker grille and 4 speaker screws. Remove speaker. (Scheme 1) Remove door mirror cover from front top of door panel. Remove door pull handle.
- Disengage 6 panel clips and remove door panel. Remove waterproof shield. Roll glass downward to access screws attaching glass to regulator. Unbolt and remove window glass. Remove screws attaching top and bottom of regulator to door. Remove screws attaching power window motor to door.
- Disconnect electrical connector to motor and remove regulator assembly. Remove motor from regulator noting location of cables. To install, reverse removal procedure.
Scheme 1
Removal & Installation (Passport, Rodeo & Rodeo Sport - Rear Doors)
- Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove rear lower corner garnish from door. (Scheme 2) Pull out on inside door handle and remove screw and handle. Remove one screw at pull handle. Disengage 8 clips attaching door panel to door, disconnect electrical connectors and remove door panel.
- Remove power window switch. Remove bracket and waterproof sheet from door. Remove screw from top of door and inside of door and remove stationary glass. Roll glass downward to access screws attaching glass to regulator. Remove glass from door.
- Remove screws attaching top and bottom of regulator to door. Remove screws attaching power window motor to door. Disconnect electrical connector to motor and remove regulator assembly. Remove motor from regulator, noting location of cables. To install, reverse removal procedure.
Scheme 2
Removal & Installation (Trooper - Front Doors)
- Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove door mirror cover (or tweeter, if equipped). Remove power window switch. See «POWER WINDOW SWITCH»(ref-91682-S28667181672001032700000). Remove speaker cover and speaker. Remove inside handle retainer screw and gently slide handle forward.
- Remove 2 door trim panel screws. Remove door trim panel and waterproof shield. (Scheme 3) Roll glass down until glass retaining bolts can be accessed and removed. Disconnect power window motor. Remove window regulator screws and remove window regulator. Remove regulator assembly from access hole in lower portion of door. Remove power window motor retaining screws and remove motor from window regulator.
- To install, reverse removal procedure. Install inner door handle to actuator rod before installing door panel. Feed handle through panel when reinstalling.
Scheme 3
Removal & Installation (Trooper - Rear Doors)
- Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove power window switch. See «POWER WINDOW SWITCH»(ref-91682-S28667181672001032700000). Remove inside handle retainer screw and gently slide handle forward. Remove 2 inner panel screws. Pry loose 7 inner panel clips and remove panel. (Scheme 4) Unplug electrical connectors and lift panel up and off of door.
- Remove waterproof sheet. Roll glass down until glass retaining bolts can be accessed and removed. Unbolt and remove glass. Disconnect power window motor. Remove window regulator screws and remove window regulator. Remove regulator assembly from access hole in lower portion of door. Remove power window motor retaining screws and remove motor from window regulator.
- To install, reverse removal procedure. Install inner door handle to actuator rod before installing door panel. Feed handle through panel when reinstalling.
Scheme 4
Removal & Installation (VehiCROSS)
- Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove grip cover and disconnect switch connector. Remove 2 screws under grip cover. Remove door handle screw, then disconnect inside handle link. Remove screw cover, screw and tweeter.
- Gently pull door panel away from door to release 9 door panel clips, then lift up to remove panel. Remove plastic sheet from door. Remove front speaker and speaker box, mirror assembly, rear glass run channel and outer waste seal.
- Remove 2 glass retaining bolts. Tilt window forward, then remove from door. Remove glass run and inside handle link. Disconnect regulator motor electrical connector. Remove 4 regulator bolts and 3 window motor bolts. Remove window motor and regulator assembly. To install, reverse removal procedure.
Scheme 5
Disconnect negative battery cable. Pry out power window switch from door panel using a flat-blade screwdriver to depress retainer spring. Disconnect power window switch connector and remove switch. To install, reverse removal procedure.
Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove screw attaching rear door pull handle to door. Remove door panel. Disconnect power window switch connectors and remove switch. To install, reverse removal procedure.
Removal & Installation (Trooper - Front & Rear Doors)
Disconnect negative battery cable. Pry out power window switch from door panel using a flat-blade screwdriver to depress retainer spring. Disconnect power window switch connectors and remove switch. To install, reverse removal procedure.
Disconnect negative battery cable. Pull out grip cover by depressing spring clip at front of cover. Disconnect switch connector. Remove 4 retaining screws and remove switch. To install, reverse removal procedure.
