Power Windows: Removal & Installation Isuzu Axiom I

Removal & Installation (Rear-Left Side & Rear-Right Side)

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove rear window regulator assembly (2). see scheme 1and see, «WINDOW REGULATOR & GLASS REMOVAL (FRONT)»(ref-155402-S12601287972003061300000) or «WINDOW REGULATOR & GLASS REMOVAL (REAR)»(ref-155402-S26339272372003061300000).
3. To install, follow removal steps in reverse order.

Scheme 2

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove switch (1). (Scheme 2) Pull out switch by pushing spring with tip of screwdriver. Disconnect connector.
3. To install, follow removal steps in reverse order.

Scheme 3

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove switch (1). (Scheme 3) Pull out switch by pushing spring with tip of screwdriver. Disconnect connector.
3. To install, follow removal steps in reverse order.

Scheme 4

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove rear door trim pad (2). (Scheme 4)
3. Remove rear power window switch (1). Remove switch fixing screw from back side of rear door trim (2).

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove pull box. (Scheme 5) Remove one fixing screw.
3. Remove power window switch (1). (Scheme 6) Pull power window switch and remove connector.
4. Remove inside handle. (Scheme 7) Open screw cover (1) and remove screw. Disconnect cable.
5. Remove door mirror cover.
6. Remove trim panel at the 8 clip positions (1). (Scheme 8) Disconnect tweeter and courtesy light connectors.
7. Remove inner waist seal.
8. Remove tweeter.
9. Remove courtesy light.
10. Remove pull box bracket.
11. Remove inside lock bracket. Disconnect cable.
12. Remove speaker (2) and speaker spacer (1). (Scheme 9) Disconnect speaker connector (3).
13. Remove waterproof sheet.
14. Remove outer waist seal. Remove rear side screw and pull outer waist seal upward.
15. Remove window glass. (Scheme 10) Operate regulator (power window switch) to adjust glass height and expose access hole. Remove 2 bolts fixing bottom channel and regulator. Remove glass.
16. Remove window regulator. Remove 7 fixing bolts and disconnect window regulator motor harness connector.
17. Remove glass run. (Scheme 11) Pull glass run (6) from door frame.

Installation

To install, follow removal steps in reverse order, noting the following points

1. Check to see that the window regulator operates smoothly and glass opens and closes properly.
2. Install waterproof sheet tightly against door panel.
3. Tighten window regulator assembly fixing bolts to specified torque: 52 in (6 mm).

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove pull box. (Scheme 12) Remove fixing screw.
3. Remove power window switch (1). (Scheme 13) Pull power window switch and remove connector.
4. Remove inside handle. (Scheme 14) Open screw cover and remove screw. Disconnect cable.
5. Pull trim panel at the 7 clip positions. (Scheme 15) Disconnecting tweeter and courtesy light connectors.
6. Remove inner waist seal.
7. Remove tweeter and courtesy light.
8. Remove pull box bracket.
9. Remove speaker and speaker spacer. Disconnect speaker harness connector.
10. Remove inside locket bracket. Disconnect cable.
11. Remove waterproof sheet (1). See. Taking notice door harness, peel waterproof sheet off door panel carefully.
12. Remove outer waist seal. Remove front side screw and pull waist seal upward.
13. Remove window glass. (Scheme 17) Operate regulator (power window switch) to adjust glass height and expose access hole. Remove 2 bolts fixing bottom channel and regulator. Remove glass.
14. Remove fixed window glass (2) by removing screw form top of division bar (1) and bolt from bottom of division bar. (Scheme 18)
15. Remove window regulator. (Scheme 19) Remove 6 fixing bolts and pull regulator out from lower hole of door panel.
16. Remove glass run. Pull glass run from door frame.

To install, follow removal steps in reverse order, noting following points

1. Check to see that window regulator operates smoothly and glass opens and closes properly.
2. Install waterproof sheet tightly against door panel.
3. Tighten window regulator assembly fixing bolts to specified torque: 52 in (6 mm).
