TIRE SPECIFICATIONS

Tire specifications are imprinted on the tire sidewall. The recommended cold tire inflation pressures are listed on a label attached to the front face of the rear left wheel housing inside the vehicle. These pressures provide the best combination of ride comfort, tire wear and stability under normal conditions.

CAUTIONDO NOT mix tires of different design such as radials with bias or bias-belted tires. Mixing tire types will adversely affect road handling and may lead to loss of vehicle control. DO NOT use tire chains on compact (T-type) spare tires.

WHEEL TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS

Tighten all wheel lug nuts to 87-108 ft. lbs. (118-147 N.m). Always tighten wheel lug nuts in a crisscross pattern.

BATTERY SPECIFICATIONS

CAUTIONWhen battery is disconnected, vehicles equipped with computers may lose memory data. When battery power is restored, driveability problems may exist on some vehicles. These vehicles may require a relearn procedure. See COMPUTER RELEARN PROCEDURES article in the GENERAL INFORMATION Section.

Battery is located in engine compartment. Under severe conditions, however, check battery fluid periodically to ensure adequate fluid level. Electrolyte level should be between MIN and MAX marks on battery case. If adding water to battery is necessary, use only distilled water to fill each battery cell to MAX level. DO NOT overfill battery. Replace with a battery of the same group number as shown on original battery's label.
