Power Windows: Other Infiniti G20 II

DRIVER'S WINDOW INOPERATIVE

Check wire harness between power window main switch and power window regulator for open and/or short circuits. Check driver's power window regulator.

PASSENGER WINDOWS INOPERATIVE

Check the following in order listed and repair as necessary

1. Check power window sub-switch.
2. Check power window regulator.
3. Check power window main switch.
4. Check wiring for open and/or short circuit between power window main switch, and power window sub-switch.
5. Check wiring for open and/or short circuit between power window regulator and power window sub-switch.

MAIN SWITCH DOES NOT OPERATE PASSENGER WINDOWS

Check power window main switch.

DRIVER'S WINDOW AUTO-FUNCTION INOPERATIVE

Check power window main switch.

RETAINED POWER FUNCTION INOPERATIVE

Check the following in order listed and repair as necessary

1. Check Green/Red wire for open and/or short circuit between terminal No. 1 on power window relay and Smart Entrance Control Unit (SECU).
2. Check wiring for open and/or short circuit between SECU and power window switches.
3. Check continuity of power window switches ground circuits.
4. Inspect all power window switches.
5. Replace SECU.
