- Remove the front door trim panel. (see «FRONT DOOR TRIM»(ref-276692-S00414934802008011000000) )
- Disconnect the 2P connector from the motor.
- Connect the motor terminals directly to battery voltage (12V) and check that the motor operates smoothly. Next, reverse the polarity and check that the motor operates smoothly in the reverse direction. If the operation is abnormal, replace the motor.

- Remove the rear door trim panel. (see «REMOVE REAR DOOR TRIM»(ref-276692-S28922611722008011000000) )
- Disconnect the 2P connector from the motor.
- Connect the motor terminals directly to battery voltage (12V) and check that the motor operates smoothly. Next, reverse the polarity and check that the motor operates smoothly in the reverse direction. If the operation is abnormal, replace the motor.

- Remove the power window main switch from the driver's door trim panel.
- Check for continuity between the terminals.

- Remove the assist power window switch from the assist door trim panel.
- Check for continuity between the terminals. If continuity is not as specified in (Scheme 12) or (Scheme 13), replace the power window switch.

- Remove the rear power window switch from the rear door trim panel.
- Check for continuity between the terminals. If continuity is not as specified in the table, replace the power window switch
Scheme 14
- Remove the power window relay (A) from the passenger compartment junction block (B).
- There should be continuity between the No.1 and No.4 terminals when power and ground are connected to the No.3 and No.2 terminals.
- There should be no continuity between the No.1 and No.4 terminals when power is disconnected.
