- Pull out the head lamp relay (Low) (A) and head lamp relay (High) (B) from the engine compartment relay box.
- Check for continuity between terminals. There should be continuity between the No.1 and No.4 terminals when power and ground are connected to the No.2 and No.3 terminals.
- There should be no continuity between the No.1 and No.4 terminals when power is disconnected.

- Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
- Loose the mounting bolts (2EA) and a nut of head lamp.
- Remove the head lamp assembly after disconnecting the lamp connectors. NOTE: Take care that retaining clip (A) is not to be damaged.
- Installation is the reverse of removal.
Scheme 6
- Turn the head lamp switch off.
- Disconnect the power connector from the lamp.
- Remove the lamp assembly.
- Remove the dust cover.
- Remove the ignitor (B) after disconnecting connector (A).
- Remove fixing spring and replace the bulb.
- Installation is the reverse of removal. CAUTION: Turn the head lamp switch off to avoid high voltage Be careful not to damage the bulb and use genuine bulbs only Do not apply excessive force and fit it correctly. Confirm the bulb locking
