- Connect the battery voltage and check the blower motor rotation.
- If the blower motor voltage does not operate properly, substitute with a known-good blower motor and check for proper operation.
- If the problem is corrected, replace the blower motor.

Description
- The intake actuator is located at the blower unit.
- It regulates the intake door by signal from control unit.
- Pressing the intake selection switch will shift between recirculation and fresh air modes.
Scheme 26
- Ignition "OFF"
- Disconnect the intake actuator connector.
- Verify that the actuator operates to the recirculation position when connecting 12 V to the terminal 4 and grounding terminal 3.
- Verify that the intake actuator operates to the fresh position when connecting in the reverse. VOLTAGE SPECIFICATIONS Door position Voltage (3-4) Error detecting Recirculation 0.3 ± 0.15 V Low voltage : 0.1 V or less Fresh 4.7 ± 0.15 V High voltage: 4.9 V or more

- Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
- Remove the glove box (Refer to «GLOVE BOX REPLACEMENT»(ref-380300-S11419497782010121800000) ).
- Disconnect the intake actuator connector.
- Loosen the mounting screw and then remove the intake actuator (A) from the blower unit.
- Installation is the reverse order of removal.
