Removal
Disconnect oxygen sensor connector. Remove exhaust manifold heat shield. Raise and support vehicle. Remove splash shield. Disconnect front exhaust pipe from exhaust manifold. Remove exhaust manifold support bracket. Remove exhaust manifold nuts and manifold. Remove gasket.
Installation
To install, reverse removal procedure. Clean gasket surfaces. Install exhaust manifold with a NEW gasket and NEW exhaust manifold self-locking nuts. Tighten manifold nuts to specification in a in a crisscross pattern, starting with inner nuts, in 2-3 stages. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
