Glass Position Adjustment
The roof panel (A) should be even with the glass weatherstrip (B), to within 0+1/-1 mm (0+0.04/ -0.04 in.) all the way around. If not, make the following adjustment
Scheme 1
Scheme 2
- Adjust the glass (A). Turn the slit portions of the molding (B) up. With a TORX T25 bit, slightly loosen the TORX screws. Move the glass up or down. Tighten all bolts securely.
- If necessary, repeat on the opposite side.
- Reset the moonroof control unit (see «RESETTING THE MOONROOF CONTROL UNIT»(ref-333623-S05279275462009072100000) ).

- Tilt the glass all the way up.
- Slide the sunshade all the way back.
- Turn the slit portions of the molding (A) up and remove the TORX screws from the glass brackets (B) on both sides with a TORX T25 bit.
- Remove the glass (A) by lifting it up. Do not damage the roof panel.
- Install the glass in the reverse order of removal, and note these items: Apply medium strength liquid thread lock to the glass mounting bolts before reinstallation. Do «GLASS POSITION ADJUSTMENT»(ref-333584-S15665972642009072100000) ). Reset the moonroof control unit (see «RESETTING THE MOONROOF CONTROL UNIT»(ref-333623-S05279275462009072100000) ).
- Check for water leaks (see step 7 on «FRONT AND REAR DOOR GLASS ADJUSTMENT»(ref-333581-S12675532292009072100000) ).
Let the water run freely from a hose without a nozzle. Do not use a high-pressure spray.
Note. It is normal for some water to seep past the moonroof into the moonroof frame, and exit through the drains.

- Turn the drain channel (A) up while sliding it forward to release it from the pins (B) on both drain channel sliders (C).
- Stand the drain channel (A) upright, and pull up the channel to remove it from both drain channel sliders (B).
- Install the channel in the reverse order of removal. Reinstall the glass and check «GLASS POSITION ADJUSTMENT»(ref-333584-S15665972642009072100000) .
- Reset the moonroof control unit (see «RESETTING THE MOONROOF CONTROL UNIT»(ref-333623-S05279275462009072100000) ).
- Check for water leaks (see step 7 on «FRONT AND REAR DOOR GLASS ADJUSTMENT»(ref-333581-S12675532292009072100000) ). Use free-flowing water from a hose without a nozzle. Do not use high-pressure spray.
