1. Turn the map light switch OFF.
2. Carefully pry off the lens (A) with a small screwdriver. Front Individual Map Light: 8 W x 2 With moonroof Without moonroof
3. Remove the two mounting screws, then remove the map lights (B).
4. Disconnect the connectors (C) from the map lights.
5. Check for continuity between the terminals.
6. If the continuity is not as specified, check the bulb(s). If the bulb(s) are OK, replace the map light.
7. Install the light in the reverse order of removal.

Scheme 9

1. Turn the map light switch OFF.
2. Carefully pry off the lens (A) with a small screwdriver.
3. Remove the two mounting screws.
4. Disconnect the 3P connector (B) from the housing (C).
5. Check for continuity between the terminals. There should be continuity between terminals No. 1 and No. 3 with the left switch ON. There should be continuity between terminals No. 1 and No. 2 with the right switch ON. There should be continuity between terminals No. 2 and No. 3 with the left switch OFF.
6. If the continuity is not as specified, check the bulb(s) (D). If the bulbs are OK, replace the light.
7. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.

Scheme 10

1. Turn the light switch OFF.
2. Carefully pry off the lens (A) with a small screwdriver.
3. Remove the two mounting screws.
4. Disconnect the 3P connector (B) from the housing (C).
5. Check for continuity between the terminals in each switch position according to the table. There should be continuity between terminals No. 2 and No. 1 with the switch in the MIDDLE position. There should be continuity between terminals No. 2 and No. 3 with the switch in the ON position.
6. If the continuity is not as specified, check the bulb (D). If the bulb is OK, replace the light.
7. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.

1. Remove the front individual map light (see «FRONT INDIVIDUAL MAP LIGHT TEST/REPLACEMENT»(/honda/pilot/ii-2008-2011/remont/interiorillumination-lights/#interior-lights) ).
2. Disconnect the interior light switch 12P connector (A) and the map light 3P connector (B). With moonroof Without moonroof
3. Remove the interior light switch (C) from the map light housing.
4. At the interior light switch 12P connector, check for continuity between the terminals in each interior light switch position according to the table below.
5. If the continuity is not as specified, replace the interior light switch assembly.
6. Install the light in the reverse order of removal.

1. Remove the front individual map lights (see «FRONT INDIVIDUAL MAP LIGHT TEST/REPLACEMENT»(/honda/pilot/ii-2008-2011/remont/interiorillumination-lights/#interior-lights) ).
2. Disconnect the interior light switch 12P connector (A) and the map light 3P connector (B). With moonroof Without moonroof
3. Remove the interior light switch (C) from the map light housing.
4. At the interior light switch 12P connector, check the light by connecting battery power to terminal No. 8 and ground to terminal No. 10. The ambient light should come on. If the light does not come on, replace the interior light switch assembly.
5. Install the light in the reverse order of removal.

Scheme 16

1. Remove the center pocket (see «CENTER POCKET REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-333587-S41110937122009072100000) ).
2. Disconnect the 2P connector (A) from the ambient light (B).
3. Remove the ambient light.
4. At the ambient light 2P connector, check the light by connecting battery power to terminal No. 2 and ground to terminal No. 1. The ambient light should come on. If the light does not come on, replace the ambient light.
5. Install the light in the reverse order of removal.

Scheme 17

1. Remove the center pocket (see «CENTER POCKET REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-333587-S41110937122009072100000) ).
2. Disconnect the 2P connector (A) from the ambient light (B).
3. Remove the ambient light.
4. At the ambient light 2P connector, check the light by connecting battery power to the terminal No. 2 and ground to terminal No. 1. The ambient light should come on. If the light does not come on, replace the ambient light.
5. Install the light in the reverse order of removal.

Scheme 18

1. Carefully pry out the console box light out of the center console.
2. Turn the bulb socket (A) 45° counterclockwise to remove it. Console Box Light: 1.4 W
3. Remove the bulb (B) from the socket.
4. Install the light in the reverse order of removal.

Scheme 19

1. Carefully pry off the lens (A) with a small screwdriver. Courtesy Light: 2 CP
2. Remove the bulb (B) from the socket.
3. Install the light in the reverse order of removal.

Scheme 20

1. Open the glove box, and release the glove box stops and each side, then let the glove box hang down, (see «GLOVE BOX REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-333587-S08268234282009072100000) )
2. Carefully pry out the glove box light (A) from its mounting bracket (B) with the small screwdriver.
3. Turn the bulb socket (C) 45° counterclockwise to remove it. Glove Box Light: 1.4 W
4. Remove the bulb (D) from the socket.
5. Install the light in the reverse order of removal.

Scheme 21

1. Remove the sunvisor (see «SUNVISOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-333585-S05801120942009072100000) ).
2. Disconnect the 2P connector (A) from the sunvisor (B). Vanity Mirror Light: 1.1 W x 2
3. Check for continuity between terminals No. 1 and No. 2. With the vanity mirror cover (C) open, there should be continuity. With the vanity mirror cover closed, there should be no continuity.
4. If the continuity is not as specified, check the bulbs (D). If the bulbs are OK, replace the vanity mirror light.
5. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.

Scheme 22

1. Open the tailgate.
2. Remove the tailgate trim panel (see «TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION - TAILGATE AREA»(ref-333585-S04198044782009072100000) ).
3. Disconnect the 2P connector (A) from the tailgate latch switch (B).
4. Check for continuity between terminals No. 1 and No. 2. With the tailgate open, there should be continuity. With the tailgate closed, there should be no continuity.
5. If the continuity is not as specified, replace the latch assembly.
