Note. Check the vehicle battery condition first. Check the connectors for poor connections or loose terminals. Set the fader and balance positions to the center.

Listen for sound from the speakers. Is the sound normal? YES -Go to step 2. NO -Go to audio system sound is weak or distorted, or no sound is heard from speakers, '07 model (see «NO SOUND IS HEARD FROM THE SPEAKER(S) (DISPLAY IS NORMAL) ('07 MODEL WITH PREMIUM AUDIO SYSTEM)»(ref-355279-S27816857382010012200000) ), '08-10 models (see «NO SOUND IS HEARD FROM THE SPEAKER(S) (DISPLAY IS NORMAL) ('08-10 MODELS WITHOUT PREMIUM AUDIO SYSTEM)»(ref-355279-S09771447832010012200000) ).
Operate the volume knob to see if the volume changes. Does the volume change? YES -Operation is normal. NO -Replace the audio unit (see «AUDIO UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-355279-S36680317312010012200000) ).
