1. Do the battery terminal disconnection procedure (see «BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION AND RECONNECTION»(ref-320444-S34791839562009071400000) ).
2. Remove the steering column covers (see «SIDE DEFOGGER VENT TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-320473-S20196115742009071400000) ).
3. Disconnect the 7P connector (A) from the ignition switch (B).
4. Check for continuity between the terminals in each switch position according to the table below.
5. If the continuity is not as specified, replace the ignition switch (see «TEST»(ref-320446-S38896820812009071400000) ).
6. Do the battery terminal reconnection procedure (see «BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION AND RECONNECTION»(ref-320444-S34791839562009071400000) ).
