(1) On all models except Passport, Body/Engine ID is the fourth, fifth and sixth digits of VIN. On Passport, Body/Engine ID is the fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth digits of VIN. (2) Engine code is the first 5 characters of the 12 characters stamped or tagged on engine block. (3) Ignition timing controlled by Powertrain Control Module (PCM). (4) Variable Valve Timing with Electronic Control (VTEC). (5) Dual Overhead Camshafts (DOHC). (6) Ignition system is Magnetic type. Timing is controlled by Powertrain Control Module (PCM).
