REMOVAL & INSTALLATION

| CAUTION | When battery is disconnected, vehicle computer and memory systems may lose memory data. Driveability problems may exist until computer systems have completed a relearn cycle. See COMPUTER RELEARN PROCEDURES article in GENERAL INFORMATION before disconnecting battery. |
- Remove the trim plate screw, then carefully remove the inside handle trim plate.
- Remove the lap belt guide mounting screw (3 door).
- Remove the screw and carefully pry up the armrest pocket.
- Remove the screws, then the speaker cover.
- Remove the screws and clips using the door panel release tool. (Scheme 12)and (Scheme 16).
- Remove the door panel by pulling it upward.
- For installation do reverse of installation procedures.

- Remove the door trim panel. See «DOOR TRIM PANEL»(ref-141049-S00161814522002061200000).
- Remove the switch from the door trim panel by releasing the four mounting screws. (Scheme 13)
- To install, do reverse of removal procedures.

- Remove the inside handle from the door panel by removing the three mounting screws. (Scheme 14)
- Remove the switch from inside handle by removing the two mounting screws.
