SWITCH INPUT TESTS
Note. Some wires have been assigned a superscript to distinguish them from other wires of the same color. For example, Yellow/Green(1) wire is not the same as Yellow/Green(2) wire.
Turn ignition off. Remove driver's door panel. Unplug connectors from master switch. Using a DVOM, perform appropriate switch input tests. (Scheme 23)or (Scheme 24). If all input test results are okay, inspect connector and terminals for damage and proper fit. If connector is okay and power windows still malfunction, replace master switch.

ALL WINDOWS INOPERATIVE
Blown fuse No. 15 (80-amp) in underhood fuse box. Blown fuse No. 37 (7.5-amp) in underhood fuse box. Faulty power window relay. Faulty key-off timer circuit in integrated control unit. Open in White/Red wire.
DRIVER'S WINDOW INOPERATIVE
Blown fuse No. 28 (20-amp) in underhood fuse box. Faulty driver's window motor. Faulty window regulator. Driver's switch input. Open in Green/White wire.
DRIVER'S WINDOW INOPERATIVE IN AUTO
Master switch faulty. Faulty pulser (in driver's motor). Faulty driver's switch input. Open in Red wire.
PASSENGER'S WINDOW INOPERATIVE
Blown 20-amp fuse(s) No. 26 (right front), No. 24. (right rear) and/or No. 25 (left rear) in underhood fuse box. Faulty master switch. Faulty passenger's switch. Faulty passenger's window motor. Faulty window regulator. Open in Blue/Black wire (right front), White/Black wire (left rear) and/or White/Yellow (right rear) wire.
ALL WINDOWS INOPERATIVE WITHIN 10 MINUTES OF IGNITION SWITCH TURNED OFF
Blown fuse No. 37 (7.5-amp) in underhood fuse box. Faulty door switches. Faulty key-off timer circuit in integrated control unit.
MASTER POWER WINDOW SWITCH
Remove left front door panel. Disconnect all electrical connectors. Remove master switch from door panel by lifting front of switch first and moving forward to disengage tang at rear of switch. To install, reverse removal procedure.
